We are a family of 6, felt like a good plate of pasta so we visited this restaurant. Setting of restaurant is very particular with multi levels. We all ordered pasta with pistachios and mushrooms, 3 small bottles of coke, a sparkling water (but was given still), 2 draught medium beers. Bill came €90. Too much for a very small... More

The restaurant is housed in an old olive mill, the beams of which are still very much part of the interior. Both starters and main courses were of very good quality, classic Italian/Sicilian cuisine. Only one thing prevents me from giving the restaurant a score of 5: towards the end the waiters seemed to get a little distracted and it... More

We went twice to this restaurant and had a great meal each time. The restaurant is based on a former flour mill and olive press, I assume looking at the artefacts. It is an interesting an unusual setting. We had sea-food couscous and various pasta dishes, which were excellent. The mushroom taglietelle was especially good with very tasty mushrooms and... More

I've been to Sicily twice and eaten here three times. It's my favorite restaurant in Italy. The appetizer selection is amazing and totally worth the price. The pizza is good. I've had first courses, second courses, and desserts. Loved it all. GREAT service and a lovely environment. I have a lot of good memories of this place and can't wait... More

We visited this restaurant on the weekend of Ferrogosto when it is very difficult to find a place to eat without reservations. We ate early and although we were a group of twelve the service was fantastic. Every member of our party enjoyed their food and at the end of the meal were presented with local biscotti and fortified wine.... More

Recommended by tourist information in Nicolosi. A fantastic find in charming surroundings. We went with the fixed price lunch and the owners recommendations. He provided veggie options for half our party which were delicious. Home made lemonade was marvellous. Go if you get the chance.

Hidden on a side street away from the centre of a pitoresq little village on the foot of Mount Etna. We arrived late afternoon and the pizza's were not on the menu yet. Only in the evenings. However we stayed and one friendly gentleman served and cooked for us. The pastas were amazing! Truly tasty and authentic. The draft beer... More
