Lamin Lodge is a very nice place for bird watching, spending a lazy afternoon enjoying the views. There food provided was ok for the price. But the view is much nicer.

This was one of the spots I visited with Arch Tours. It was almost completely empty, and very quiet. You could enjoy the sun and the birds singing, and occasional monkey coming over to steal your drink and snack! The lodge is made of wood, giving unique experience and stunning views around the bay of the mangroves on the river.

We visited as part of a 6 in 1 trip. We had tea or coffee and freshly made little doughnuts. The monkeys are there. You are asked not to feed them but our guide could not resist it. Unfortunately we were there at high tide so there was not too much wildlife. We did see the mud skipper fish at... More

Great views and very good bird watching spot. The staff at the Lodge are super sweet and friendly as are the guides and boatmen. the lodge its self looks quite rickety and ram shackled but you have to love it for what it is.

Lovely early morning boat ride through the mangroves... watched the sunrise and enjoyed seeing the local bird life... The buffet breakfast was good too :-)

Didn't stop to eat but the place is amazing to see. We did a trip around the mangrove in a small traditional boat and the guides were very informative about all the history and wildlife. A must visit if going to The Gambia

The chaps explaining about the oysters and the scenery were very informative and willing to spend ages answering my questions. The cafe is lovely, although it was daunting climbing the rickety stairs, with fabulous views. I wish had taken my kindle, I could have stayed all day.
