I've been eating tapas here these last three years, whilst holidaying. Tasty, traditional tapas, pleasant setting overlooking the old Harbour, friendly staff. Not pretentious, just enjoyable all round and part of any visit to the area. Draft beer, 3euro, tapas 3.75 per portion. Why sit in the midday sun? Not the place for photo menus, pizzas, burgers, kebabs etc....

We are on holiday for 5 days and have eaten in this restaurant 4 times as the food and service is so good. If you are looking for fresh and traditional then you really should try La Lonja. We are looking forward to returning again soon.

We found this restaurant on our first night and we were hesitant to go in. So we were invited to view the fresh fish counter and talk to cook, he recommended a John Dory. For starters my wife ordered a plate of garlic prawns and loved them, I ordered fried baby squid and although they were good there was too... More

The bars and restaurants along the coastal path leading to the port were all Brits, chips and pints. Just walk another few hundred yards and go to this place. Good choices from the menu or choose authentic tapas from the bar. We found the service friendly, efficient and spot on. We had tapas on both occasions - octopus salad, the... More

Fish was fresh but average, not great . Main course are reasonably priced, starters are expensive, no one offered us a desert menu or coffee . Service is very slow with no smiles. There are so many other places to eat , I wouldn't bother to go back to this one .

Food great, perhaps lacked the ambience of some of the other PDC traditional Spanish restaurants but stick with the catch of the day and you won't go far wrong, the day we visited this was halibut which was delicious.

The food when it eventually came was lovely but I really was on the verge of giving up. None of the waiters seemed capable of helping the poor lady behind the bar who was trying to serve beer, coffee, tapas, whilst taking in dirty dishes! Don't think I would rush back.

Once again we had a great experience, we ate here twice during the week, just wish it was more. We choose 7 tapas between the two of us and two drinks, under 30 euro. It was delish, we were stuffed and happy.

We enjoyed our visits to this restaurant. First time was for tapas, big portions, and second time from the main menu. Tasty good on both occasions. Both visits were at lunchtime and for us it's attraction is because it's more traditional and attracts many local people as well as tourists. A really good place to enjoy the old port.

We chose this restaurant based on the fact we could see locals sat at the bar eating great looking tapas. We visited at lunchtime and chose a mixture of dishes, including clams, fried prawns (off the scale yummy) and squid. We had a bottle of rose wine, couple of beers and the whole bill was about 40€. The service was... More
