The Osteria was recommended by the owner of our B&B. We enjoyed our visit form the first to the last minute. Friendly people and great food: especially the dishes with tartuffo. My advice would be: follow the suggestions from the waitress.

We were told about this restaurant by our host Gabriele at Chinesa di Ignano. You have to make a reservation because it's very popular for locals. The service was excellent and the food even better. They pretty much told us what was fresh and what we should order. All dishes were fantastic but the truffle risotto was magic in our... More

Arrived late and tired but were treated well with excellent food. We had to ask for the bill a couple of times but that was probably due to the fact that we wanted to go when a lot of other guests had their food served. The food was good and the staff was friendly and that counts.

We have been in this restaurant saturday night. We eat very very well, tortelloni were so good... as well as risotto with truffle! And the meat ... Wow! They use very fresh and local raw materials and the chef is very able to valorize seasonal products. Massi, the owner, is very kind and will suggest you the best combination food-wine.... More

We were two couples who visited osteria dei sani after a morning of hiking. We had some difficulty finding it- don't drive past the center of town!! We had macaroni with porcini, pecorino, and pork cheek (a huge portion that did not skimp of the porcini), risotto with tartufo (delicious truffle flavor all the way throughout the dish), and tortellini... If you'd like to dine among Italians eating local favorites, this is the place to go. The owner and staff are friendly and the food is traditional from the area. Definitely worth a stop!

I have been in there several times, but it's a different menu every time! The traditional dishes are very good and made with fresh and seasonal ingredients, mushrooms and truffles for instance. The home made pasta is delicious, but aslo meats are very tasty! last time I had roast beef, it was superb! Worthy of mention is also the well... More

We've spent one night in Sasso Marconi and had dinner at this restaurant. Beautiful home made pasta dishes. Actually all the food was very tasty. Even we were very few clients in the restaurant (it was Monday and usually on Monday all the restaurants are closed there), the service was excellent! Our waitress was super nice, helpful and always smiling.... More
