Warm welcome to cyclists. We called here 3times over 2days. Always busy but staff coping beautifully. The food is delicious and nice variety on menu. Will definitely be back.

In this tiny restaurant you feel as if you're a guest in the owners' home. A man and his wife run the place- while we were there he took orders, greeted guests, and made friendly conversation with everyone; she was doing the cooking/baking and delivering orders. I had the most delicious freshly baked scone with jam, and a ham and... More

The day was dreary and rainy. My wife and I had intended to recreate a picnic from years passed by the fishing hut on the river. Yet, it was way too cold and rainy to do so. After being greeted by the fine hosts and perusing the menu, we knew we'd made the right choice. We shared a soup with... More

My husband and I stopped off here for lunch on our way to Ashford Castle and were so impressed with both the food and service. We were greeted warmly by the owner who was so friendly and made us feel really welcome. The menu provides for healthy and wholesome food with lovely homemade desserts to finish. I had the soup... After spending a very windy night in Galway, a flat tire along the way and an incredible walk through Ashford Castle, we stumbled upon this amazing little place. From the door, to the tasty food and welcoming owners... this was my favorite place I ate at in Europe! The food was fresh and amazing- especially the brown bread! A must... More

We visited for lunch on a rainy March afternoon. This was my second time there. When we arrived we were lucky to get a table as it is a busy spot with people coming and going. We were greeted with a warm welcome and even a joke or two with other guests! I had a really great fresh salad the... More

This little cafe was a real find in the pretty village of Cong. The half door welcomes you as do the friendly staff. We had coffee and cake and then asked for sandwiches to take away for later. We sat at the side of the road to Cornamona overlooking incredible scenery eating the tastiest sandwiches I've had in a long... More

It had just opened after the winter. The decor is nice and the food good. It serves a niche and they do what they do well. We enjoyed our visit and we're not rushed. It's a little artificial but will visit again.

Big welcome for myself and the smallies as soon as we walked in from a lovely waitress. The children were given some toys to play with and they were very happy and entertained. There wasnt a massive vegetarian selection but it didn't matter as what we had was delicious and you could tell they used good quality ingredients! Would definitely... More
