We have had several celebration meals (Christmas, birthdays, farewell meals, wedding anniversaries etc.) at this pub/restaurant. On each occasion, the service had been friendly and the food very good to execellent. We have no hesitation in recommending Bod Erw for an excellent meal out, whatever the occasion.

Ummm overcharged us. Pointed it out that the blackboard stated £10.50 for Slow cooked pork and the menu states £10.95??? Still a nice place to go for slightly overpriced meals in our opinion even though the portions were good. Pate for starter £6.25 was exceptional and enough for two but far too expensive as a starter. Everywhere was very clean... More

We ate a mid-afternoon Sunday lunch here recently. Staff: Very good on the whole and nice to have Welsh speaking members of staff. Food: It's very much run of the mill, no frills with a selection that suits the older generation, especially the desserts. A couple of notable weaknesses for me were roast potatoes that left an after-taste in the... More

Been here several times over the last year or so. The service is always very good. The food is always lovely and fresh. There is a friendly atmosphere. I would recomend this for couples, friends or groups. Its not the cheapest place to eat, but when you are getting good service and quality, it is worth it!!!

We had our Christmas evening meal here at the Bod Erw, there where 15 in the party, and I must say we were really well looked after, the food was served quickly by the waiting on team, the room was very much to our liking no music playing in the background to make conversation difficult. We all gave the evening... More

Extremely well organised. No complaints about the service which was very good. Mass catering was average though. Goats cheese starter ok. Roast beef for mains was awful. Extremely chewy and very overcooked. Chicken breast ok, not too dry but a bit ordinary. Didn't have a dessert but they seemed ok. Very poor choice of wine on offer. Lovely venue though.... More

Excellent lunch at the Bod Erw again. Great Lunch menu & excellent value for money. The omelettes are amazing. My friends particularly like the pies and the homemade chips are fab. Desserts look great but we are always too full as you have a choice of chips or potatoes and fresh veg or salad with every meal. Excellent service also
