Gets serious respect for actually being open, which nothing else in town could manage. Friendly service. Food average to poor and micro wave apparently under powered.

We saw the Tripadviser certificate at the entrance and our party of five decided to have lunch there. We were a bit disappointed, though, even if the food we had was absolutely acceptable - except for a bit lukewarm lasagne - but not above average....More
Good simple food, good price, excellent service. No complaints. My husband had scallopini with mushrooms and it was excellent. I had a simple spaghetti pomodoro for 6 Euros; excellent.
Driving up Alacantara, we stopped at Castiglione. The TA advice was here. It didn't disappoint. A plate of antipasti, a cold beer, a cool restaurant and a convivial environment made this an oasis. Family run. Cheap. What's better?
