Our food was bland, chicken over cooked and veg very under cooked. Not as described on my he menu. The staff were very friendly so it was a shame. We did not complain on the night as we were with friends.

Visited the Lime Kiln Inn as a family of eleven , booked our table in advance . Food choice was great , the staff were very friendly , welcoming and efficient . Will definitely visit again .

I believe it is privately owned... There was no evidence of any logos etc of the usual chains...

Hi sorry it's a late reply. Not sure, although the people who run the pub have a large dog ( German Shepard type) who was allowed albeit shortly to wander in the bar. But as for anyone else I would of thought doubtful... More

You can expect a wealth of home cooked food and real ales in a pub full of character and charm. The Lime Kiln has been fully restored to its original glory with settles, antique furniture and old pictures of local village scenes and includes a large dining room and an impressive inglenook fireplace.
