We made the mistake of visiting on Friday which is market day in Cobano. Many people who went to the market included a stop here to get baked goods. As a consequence, they were out of bread and couldn't make sandwiches for our lunch. We decided to stay and go to the salad side of the menu. My wife and... More

This French bakery sells freshly made bread, pastries, sandwiches and other tasty food. Fiona works here and provides fantastic service in Spanish, English, French and Scottish (of course). Highly recommend this place if you are in Cobano looking for quality and are on a budget.

Lovely atmosphere. Went here a few times and looks to have a regular crowd where everyone knows on another. Staff are friendly and efficient; had the chocolate croissant, omlettes, and prosciutto sandwiches. All were excellent. Would come back here again.

We visited the San Teresa branch (not on trip advisor) and had a great lunch there. Service was first class and very friendly. They really loved working there.

It is a surprise to find in the small town a lovely French bakery. I have never sat and had a meal there but several times have gone by to purchase pastries to go. The prices are reasonable around 1400 to 2000 colones. Always very fresh and nothing you would find ordinarily in San Jose.

Stopped by for lunch and treats. What a great choice! Food was fantastic and Fiona is a blast. It's the only place we ate at in Cobano, but it has to be the best!

great place to enjoy snacks or lunch.and always leave room for desert. I love their sesame toasted shrimp on salad and smoked fresh tuna or marlin on salad. Friendly staff and all foods prepared to order. They always have something new and exciting to take home.....for later and or tomorrow. Can also call ahead for something special.

The cafe con leche is fabulous. The pastries are way too good to actually exist! Try their empanadas (could be chicken, veggies and incredibly savory cheese today - tomorrow?).
