The food was very good with a good menu. The staff were very attentive. The only downside on the day we visited was it happened to be the windiest day of the holiday so wasn't ideal regards location but that's irrelevant to the review, I just suggest you go on a clam evening as it's open to the elements. Great... More

We had dreamt about returning to this restaurant (and it's views) ever since our first visit to Skala four years ago, and I was a little worried that it wouldn't live up to our memories. I had no reason to be, staff were excellent, food was beautiful (try the shepherds lamb!) and the view will never be anything less than... More

It was shame that the meal and service did not match the lovely view.We arrived about 19.20pm.Their was two waiters and we presumed the chef was the Manager as there was no one walking around the small taverna as you have in the Restaurants in Skala and it was not busy.We waited twenty minutes to order our drinks and our... A tricky drive up to Old Skala is rewarded by a stunning view, including the bright lights of Zante. The menu is quite limited and includes some unusual dishes, such as goat in red wine. Our meal was ok, without being brilliant. When compared to the many excellent restaurants in Skala I think an average rating is fair.

A lovely authentic Greek restaraunt. Serving delicious food. Well worth the trek up the winding and occasionally potholed road. Set on a hill side with magnificent views of Zante in the distance

This taverna is situated in old skala which is up at the top of the mountains and overlooks the town of skala, the beach and the sea across to Zakinthos. The food is wonderfully tasty and the staff are very friendly and interesting to chat to. Would definitely suggesting taking the trip up the mountain. To top it all you... More

We decided to walk from Hotel Pelagos Bay where we were staying to Old Skala on a day that was ideal being a little overcast. It is a good 45/60 mins walk and what a relief to reach the taverna and sit down, take in the view and have a lovely glass of ice cold lemonade. Lovely surroundings with welcoming... More
