Warm, welcoming and completely accommodating. Large tapas dishes. We had the delectable fish of the day, a couple of squid dishes, caprese salad and some bread, then we decided we'd like some garlic prawns also. The kitchen had closed, but the owner was happy to provide the prawns herself. Nothing seemed too much trouble. We were even given a gorgeous... More

Ate lunch with my family on holiday. Nice service and good food. A milion times better than in the hotell (atlantic holiday center) across the street. The house wine was crap, but the roae was good.

Have been coming to this seaside town for a few years now and this little place has always been closed up but now am happy to say that La Bodega is now under new ownership! Roberto and his lovely Scottish wife have breathed new life into this charming little restaurant/bar. They will do very well as their passion for making... More

We stumbled across this little place due to our favourite restaurant closed due to them being on holiday. From the moment my husband asked to reserve a table near the veranda the service from the waiter and main chef was 100%. The waiter actually reminded us of the chap in Faulty Towers. The place is really lovely, the Christmas decorations... More

Interesting local dishes. Very reasonably priced. Service is a bit slow but the staff are very pleasant. I had a delicious rabbit stew. If you want authentic food: worth a try.

The new owners have not been there long apparently. I understand that they took over July 2012. Really friendly people and really nice food. My wife is a vegetarian and she thoroughly enjoyed the food and the experience.

After visiting and reviewing this restaurant last July, returned to Callao to find it closed! We were so looking forward to great tapas dishes altough I see from an earlier post that the chef has moved neraby (I suspect it will be Mimi's but not absolutely sure).

I have just visited and it was closed for the whole week- shame! It has had some good reviews, the menu board was up outside and the options looked great but it looked like it had been locked up for good.
