A Petisqueira is located in Taipa Village and is one of Macau's very best traditional Portuguese restaurants. This restaurant is open from 12.30-2.30 (lunch) and 6.30-10.30pm (dinner) and is regularly full up, particularly on weekends so call ahead for reservations if you know you want to dine here. The dining area is decorated in traditional Portuguese manner, service is friendly,... More

One of my friends got the recommendation so we tried it out. It was fabulous! We were 15 minutes early (opens at 12:30) so we took pictures and waited. I don't exactly remember the name of the dish but I remember the numbers ;D We ordered #4 and #6. Then seafood rice, fried clams (they are not fried but stir... More

This is quaint Macanese Restaurant in the Middle of Taipa Village. Food is average and not great. Price is approx. US$20 a dish for lunch, not including drinks, appetizer or dessert; which would bring its cost to at least US$50 per person. What you are paying for is not for the food...what you are paying for is the ambiance and... More

Joao Chaves aka John Keys, I was there in there in April and never reached back out there to thank you for an amazing meal! I tell people constantly about your hospitality and I cannot wait to return. Thank you again for making room for a solo traveler and making my night in Macau simply AMAZING! Drinks, dinner, wine, coffee,... More

My fiancee and I dined here for a late lunch after wandering around Taipa Village for the morning. We were a bit disappointed with the village, but not with the restaurants! The food here is Portuguese in style and inspiration. I had the fish steak, and it was simply but beautifully cooked and presented. My fiancee had the roast chicken,... More

I have been here a few times now and each time I enjoy it immensely. It's a very busy place still so bok or be prepared to wait or sit on a stool. The staff are onto it and the bosses will often order for you. The Sangria is spot on and the Tapas style dishes all good. This is... More

This was the most amazing and authentic restaurant. Food was tasty, hearty and generally unpretentious. Sharing recommended. Great value. Love the sangria.
