Although well cooked the menu was quite limited, mainly burgers. Enjoyed the food but would not go back due to lack f choice

We went to u Colombu on the last night of our stay in Algajola. We were pretty lazy an we didn't want tot walk very long so we took a shot at this restaurant right across our hotel. The service was very friendly and the food was OK (nothing special but very tasty).

Had a few beers when we arrived in lovely Algajola. No views and had a burger. Was only OK. Should have walked on and found a few more very good restaurants that are plentiful in the pretty town.

We enjoyed the courses we chose here, they were unusual and very well prepared. The fish, I had was delicious, but we only chose 2 courses and a small carafe of wine and the bill was €80, easily the most expensive meal we had.

We decided to push the boat out a bit and booked a table for Friday evening. On Fridays they serve Paella Royale, which includes chicken as well as seafood. Absolutely delicious. The desserts were great too. The staff were polite and attentive - we thoroughly recommend this place.

Very nice and great service. Went twice as we enjoyed it so much. If you are lucky enough to be there when they make paella it is amazing!

Just forgot to write that although we just had the charcuteries and a dessert this was our most expensive meal on Corse. The wine and what we sum up the 2 small beers added to this expensive bill. Or we were cheated?

We ate lunch at U Culombu during recent trip to Corsica. Food was delicious and made from fresh, local ingredients. For my entree I had the prosciutto ham, delicious, thick sliced and lots of it. My wife had the fish soup which was also very good. We both had lamb chop, they were stellar, cooked and seasoned perfectly. We ran... More

We stayed in Algajola for just under a week recently, and had the delight of eating at this restaurant twice. The food was just amazing, all fresh and tasty! The desert was the hightlight for me having a sweet tooth. But the best part of all was the wonderful staff that bring the restaurant to life. If you are ever... More

We had a lovely meal at U Columbu. The food is unpretentious, well-prepared, fresh and full of flavour and there is a surprisingly wide choice for a fairly small place. We had terrine to start and then fish and mussels for our main courses, and all of it would have been fit for a much more expensive restaurant. The staff... More
