My partner and I came here whilst visiting Kos, I ordered the lamb chops and my partner ordered the rib eye steak. Some of the best lamb chops I have had and my partner was also very impressed with his steak. Service was quick and the waitresses were very warm and welcoming. We got on the house dessert and a tiny bottle of alcohol, both absolutely delicious. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting, it is definitely worth the money and the 5 stars it has.

We visited on passing , Absolutely gorgeous, friendly staff and fab service defo recommend .we had lamb chops and ribs was very tasty . We are going again to try out the big mixed grill for 45 euros will send another picture later

As mentioned before this place is a little way off the main areas but easily walkable either along the sea front or at the end of a long road full of shops and bars etc.
Once inside the staff are polite and efficient,
Regarding Covid , everything is well spaced out and tables are cleaned before you use them ( like most places in Kos)
Now the best bit
Portions are huge and very very tasty
I had the xxl steak which I would know as a tomahawk steak, my wife had the fillet and that actually came as 3 pieces of fillet !
Great homemade chips , delicious little salsa and lovely small salad.
After the meal we were given a fantastic little cake each and some homemade liquor.
Very upsetting to see quality restaurants like this struggling to survive due to current conditions
If your in Kos please do your bit and treat yourself to a great meal!

My wife ordered a T Bone steak cooked medium rare and when it arrived it was very rare verging on the blue. We brought this to the notice of the waitress who took it away and around 10 minutes later brought it back recooked but it was totally inedible and extremely chewy. My wife persevered but was unable to eat it and was forced to give up. I had ordered a rib eye which although I managed to eat most of it in truth the steak was not good and very chewy. The waitresses knew we were unhappy with our meal but offered no discount in good faith and we wound up paying 32 euros for a terrible steak that my dog would have had trouble eating. To make matters worse the total bill was 81 euros I gave them 82 euros and after waiting some 20 minutes it was clear that they were not going to give me my 1 euro change so we left very disappointed. My advice is to avoid this restaurant at all costs and based on my experience I cannot understand why they have not received any other negative reviews.

The restaurant is a little bit outside of the main street and shopping area at the sea side. The walk is worth it. You get some homemade fresh bread with olive dips as a greet of the kitchen. The pita is served warm and the tzatziki is a phenomenon. We also took a salad with walnuts an croutons which was advised by the nice waitress. She kindly explained to us which meat was which and we chose the best beef of the house, the bon fillet. We assumed to get like one piece of meat as in Germany but we got like 400g of meat each and it was awesome. So tender and delicious and only 30€ for the plate. We got a little piece of cake and a home brewed shot at the end. All in all the best beef we’ve eaten in a long time. Service was great. 10/10 would recommend.

Outstanding from start to finish! We found this restaurant just by passing it. When we entered we were warmly welcomed and we offered to sit wherever we liked. When we sat down the server asked us if we had any questions, which we did. She took me out to the cabinet outside to show me the XXL steak and then brought over a ribeye steak to show me. That was our decisions made! She then made further suggestions for our starters and proceeded to offer suggestions for our mains. The service was phenomenal, she even asked how long we’d like between our starters and mains. The food was amongst some of the best we’ve ever had. The little dessert and drink at the end of our meal finished off a wonderful experience. The whole bill with a litre of house wine was just €60. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

Went here after reading hundreds of good reviews but unfortunately my visit wasn't great.
The food was mediocre and the staff not too clever.
After being sat (x5 of us) at a table and left for nearly 10mins without anyone approaching us I eventually had to ask if someone was going to take our drinks order. In a 33° heat with not air con only fans that were not switched on. Brutal. The place was empty we were the 3rd table yet we were either ignored or forgot about. Waiting staff can barely speak English and were more concerned about x6 guys that came in AFTER us but were attended to first. The tomahawk steak was only €22 bcoz it's tasteless. The chips were amazing tho. The Bill was €107 (NO alcohol was purchased) and it certainly wasn't worth it. The juice (fanta coke etc) comes in tiny glass bottles at €2 A whip which last you all of 2mins.
Would never go back. Too many better cheaper and far more friendly places to eat in Kos. Don't waste your time or money here.

Tried here as was recommended, but not a place for us. The waitress was very school mistress in her manner which made us feel uncomfortable. The bread was nice but the dips were not. I had the pork chop which was enjoyable and cooked lovely, my partner had the calfs fillet, he did not enjoy it, I feel with so many other lovely restaurants to eat in, this one just did not measure up I am afraid. Whenever we went pass it was empty, I suppose if you are a big meat eater then this could be for you, but we prefer a little more traditional venues.

Fantastic service, juicy steaks, tasty food and great wine. Definitely make it your mission to give it a try. We went as a family of 10 who all got starters, wine, mains and extra sides and the bill was about €400 but for the size of the steaks we thought this was great value. The wee cake and syrup at the end was delicious.

Visited this restaurant while on holiday in Kos, our only meal out of the hotel & we made the right choice. The food was amazing! Fresh, tasty and really good value. After ordering we were presented with a little bread & dips board. We both had the special burger at just 15€ for main course, which included bacon, egg, cheese and caramelised onions and chips & salad on the side. Soooo yummy and huge! Afterward we were given some homemade liquor and what appeared to be panacotta cake, both very nice! Not sure if we paid for these or if they were complimentary as the bill was in Greek. Loved the style of the restaurant too. The only thing that let us down was the service - everyone was lovely but they were a little slow as only 2 waiters, could have done with at least 1 more. But overall a fab dinner and we would definitely return if we come back to Kos :)

We ate the best tenderloin steak (beef bon filet) ever, for a good price too. Big portions. The waitress was very kind. We ordered 2 glasses of red housewine and she advised us to order a 500 ml can instead, as it was cheaper. Very thoughtful and sweet. Good atmosphere as well! Just out of the busy part of Kos town, which is perfect. Wanted to take a picture, but the food was so amazing that we already finished it, hahaha. Would 100% recommend.

My partner and I ate here on two seperate occasions and on each visit we were welcomed warmly. The lady who greeted us as we entered could not have been more pleasant even though she was sporting an injury to her arm she was very attentive.
On our first visit I ordered Belly Pork while Tracy ordered Chicken Souvlaki. Both meals were generous portions and perfectly seasoned and cooked quite quickly.
They still serve you some dips with bread as a free started which we found was the only place to do this on our visit. Its a lovely treat whilst waiting for your order and had been missed by us.
After the meals they also give you a piece of delicious homemade cake and an aperatif. the name of which eludes me at time of writing.
Our second visit I had teh Chicken Souvlaki which was delicious and cooked to perfection. Tracy had the Calf Souvlaki which looked and she assured me tasted lovely. Once again we had the free dips and cake with aperatif. Highly recommed this reataurant for food and service at a reasonable price too.

My wife and I visited Stavlisio Restaurant on our second to last night in Kos Town and were so impressed, we returned on our last night too. On the first night I ordered the Steak XXL and on the recommendation of Elenya had it cooked "medium" instead on my normal "medium rare". The steak was large succulent tender flavoursome and cooked to perfection. The menu refers to french fries but the dish came with the best chips I have had in years. Really nice outer texture with soft fluffy potato inner, and all of a good size. It also came with a nice salad and I ordered the creamed mushroom side which was very tasty and complimented the steak. My wife had Lamb chops and referred to them as stunning and delicious. After the meal we had 2 complimentary surprises that I will not ruin the surprise on here. Save to say the homemade products were similarly delicious/tasty and much appreciated. We were told these (along with most ingredients) were the produce of the owner (Natalia, I think). The whole dining experience was fantastic and so we returned on our last night (18-06-2023). This time, I had the Young calf souvlaki. The dish comprised delicious, tender large chunks of steak with roasted green and red pepper. The steak was superb and it was again complimented by the chips and salad. My wife opted for the Chicken in mushroom and Creme Fraiche sauce and she loved it. Again the complimentary items were welcomed. The Greek beer was good, as was the Carafe of house Dry white wine. We thoroughly enjoyed both nights. The cost of the meal on both nights was incredibly reasonable and we couldn't fault the food, service or dining experience. We arrived as strangers but were made to feel like old friends! We even managed some banter over the poor crop of lemons from our lemon tree (in North Wales) compared to the owners very productive own lemon tree, (which are also incorporated in the dishes) and one of the other staff's tree in Thessaloniki. The place was immaculately clean and the staff were attentive and ensured we were comfortable, even providing cushions for my wife. If you are looking for an excellent meal and dining experience when in Kos town do not miss this place. We would not hesitate to recommend Stavlisio and would love to return one day. Absolutely wonderful place. Considering the sizes of the steaks/meat it's very cheap. The quality is fantastic. And the waitress Elaine(Ellen) was friendly and service minded. She made sure that everything was top quality and we had all we needed. I had a huge buffalo steak for 27 euros. That was the most expensive on the menu, the other prices was lower. The portions are huge.Go for a visit,you won't regret it!!

What makes a place a home is what makes this steak house a place to remember.
The velvety music, the openhearted staff, the wonderfull woody decoration make you feel not only great but a sense of belonging.
They do not just serve wonderfull steak here but they provide an experience.
If you are looking for a place where they cook with love, they serve with love and they sincerely want you to have a great time you have to make a stop here and you will want to come back again.
