Everything about this restaurant was superb from the staff to the food. A little off the main areas but worth the short walk. By day a butcher’s but by night a butcher’s and a restaurant. You pick your meat or burger and they weigh it and give you the price. Then choose your side dish and the meal comes out when perfectly cooked. So good we had dinner here twice, steak and pork at very reasonable prices

11/10 fantastic last meal in Kos!

Could not have asked for a better place to have our last meal of our holiday. The staff were incredibly friendly, the food was the best food we had eaten our entire holiday and you even got to pick what meat you wanted. The price is incredibly generous given the amazing meal we have and we even got some free gifts with our meal which were incredible to taste and very generous. We could not thank the restaurant enough and a big shout out to anyone who likes steak as it was one of the best steaks I have ever eaten around the world! Thank you from the Geordies! :D

This restaurant attached to a prime butcher serves the best food in Kos Town, choose your own cut of meat from their butcher and they will cook to your preference, Amazing and great price. All sides delicious and the service is second to none. Great musical ambience and you will be pleasantly surprised when the bill arrives. A definite must. If it wasn't our last night am sure we would have eaten there every night.

Wow! Meat heaven

We tried to book this for a Saturday night on the day…..no chance, so booked and went back on a Tuesday. I’m glad we did. It literally is a butchers shop with probably 12 tables outside and a fantastic team of chefs behind the scenes. The meat is literally as fresh as you can get as you pick it before it is cooked. We went with the intention of trying the burgers that are reviewed so highly on TA, but when a red blooded male sees that meat counter it is very hard to resist! My daughters and wife had burgers (beef, panko chicken and pulled pork) all of which were amazing with brioche buns, pickles and then sides of fries (we opted for one of each variety of fries) and don’t forget to order the truffle mayo! Moving onto the steak. I opted for 2 steaks (I’m on holiday!), a fillet on the half t-bone (340g) and a Kos cow rib-eye (290g). Both were perfectly cooked medium rare with homemade butter and served on wooden boards, the cost for BOTH was €21. It was divine. Seasoned to perfection and melt in the mouth. Service was spot on, wine was reasonably priced, and even the desserts to share were delicious. Anyone that has had enough Greek food and wants a burger or the freshest steak that you can pick to order should come here for an evening. Don’t forget to book!!! Amazing. No other word sums it up!!

Is this a butcher shop? YES! Is this a restaurant? YES! Are they open year round? YES! Do they open early? YES, 8AM! Do they serve breakfast? NO, unless you show up and ask, then YES! Is this place Awesome? YES Why so? Pork, Beef, Chicken, Lamb - THIS is your MEAT place! You can order from a small menu - I had to try the slow roasted beef risotto, or you can simply buy meat inside the shop and have them cook it to your preferences and specifications - my wife did so with the pork loin, and I had a pork souvlaki as well. OMG = amazing, fresh, tasty, delightful, and delicious, all of it. Reasonably priced, and a great selection of wines to go with everything. The Butcher, Michael, oversees all and ensures that all is perfect. Chefs in the kitchen cook with passion and come by each table personally afterward to make sure it was what you wanted. Super place, easy to find, you need to come here!

Just had our second visit here in our week's stay. First time my oh had a local steak and I had the chicken kebabs- both delicious.Tonight we both had the Angus steak from Argentina. Best steaks we've ever had. Absolutely excellent. Its easy to pick your meat from a great selection inside and choose to have it cooked your way. The meat was cut to our specifications and cooked to perfection. The quality of the meat is outstanding and butcher is happy to provide advice to make sure you have a great eating experience. Waiting staff are on hand to help with wine choices etc. A must visit if staying at Anastasia Hotel but worth the ten minute walk from the harbour if you're not. An absolute must if you're a meat lover! Prices are great value. Must be best value in Kos town.

We stayed for dinner upon reservation (necessary if you do not want to eat at 21:30/22:00). We had nigiri and pita with tzatziki sauce for starter followed by two sandwiches with side chips. The very good and delicate nigiri, perfectly cooked rice and quality carpaccio, pita a little small (if paired with tzatziki take at least 4 pieces) and the excellent tzatziki. The right size sandwiches, tasty but without being too salty, sauces not too intrusive and excellent meat. Definitely hearty chips (which is definitely a plus). Absolutely recommended, definitely before going back to try the meat, the counter is very inviting. Prices lower than the Italian average (sandwich ranging from 6.5 to 8.5 euros, nigiri 10 and chips 4.5)

Excellent restaurant with outstanding steaks! Wow! This steak house is a must if you are in Kos. You select your cut of meat from the butcher’s counter, a lot of it locally reared, and they cook it to perfection, accompanied with mouthwatering sides, this was by far our best meal in Kos. Our teens had a burger and pork belly and they were really delicious too. To top it off, we were gobsmacked at the value of this place. A 30oz steak was only 18 euros!! Would definitely recommend this service for its food and service too!

We have been in the Aegean for 5 years, and have visited and eaten in Kos town a lot. We heard about this newly opened restaurant from a yachting friend who was very impressed with it, and we were therefore keen to try it out. Attached to a butcher, first impressions were good. Neat, tidy, spotlessly keen, modern decor, and with all manner of meat on display to choose from. Excellent menu, attentive and knowledgeable staff, who gave us an amazing dining experience at an unbelievably competitive price. We had a local wine which was not expensive but was very good. A bit ‘out of the way’ but it is better for that in my view. This place was is a proper dining experience, not to be missed.

A really wonderful restaurant. We ate here twice during our holiday. Unfortunately we only discovered it late in our holiday, otherwise we would have been here much more often. Please make a reservation in advance. The food is delicious. The meat can be chosen from the butcher's shop and is not expensive (note that the price for the meat is a kilo). The two of us spent around €40 both times. The meat is very well prepared, delicious steak and cooked exactly as we requested. The carpaccio as a starter is also highly recommended! We recommend everyone (who especially likes a nice piece of meat) to eat here!

Everything about this restaurant is absolutely quality. Choose your meat from the counter, your sides from the menu and a few minutes later your meal is served to you by professionals who clearly know what they are doing. Then you have the real decision to make: which of the 3 deserts to choose 🤔 My favourite was the banoffee but it was close. Then finally, the cost is soo reasonable. The low cost of the meat catches us out every time. We ate here on 3 occasions during our weeks holiday and each time was a pleasure. It’s tucked away only a few minutes away from the beach and the old town, so make an effort to find it. You definitely need to book though as it’s very busy

We were told about this place by a few of the guests in our hotel, we then stumbled across it randomly and booked. This is a very small restaurant in front of the butchers shop itself, the staff are very welcoming and there is a lovely atmosphere. No photos as the food was inhaled very fast! If you choose a meat option then you can go up and pick your own cut of meat from the butcher counter yourself - a lovely idea and there is so much to choose from. We wanted all of it!!! I cannot rate this place highly enough, this was way better than a meal at Hawksmoor or gaucho in the U.K. (and way cheaper). We will definitely be coming back during our stay and would suggest any meat eater to give it a go!!

Great restaurant run by staff/owners who are proud of the food they are preparing/serving. Go in and select the cut of meat you would like from a vast range in the butcher’s fridge, the butcher will advise you where required on meat in the fridge. Great tasting food, with craft beer available for me too. We’ve been twice it’s that good

We visited at about 6.30pm on Monday without a reservation and it looked as though all the tables were reserved but we were given a table until 8pm. We each had a burger - I had the Piggy which had a really tasty sauce. For an accompaniment we shared a bowl of country fries, which are skin-on potatoes fried and cut into thick chunks with a spicy coating- very nice. We walked back past the restaurant at about 8 and it was really busy so it’s probably a good idea to make a reservation.
