We have been in the Plaza beach Restaurant a total of 3 times during our 10 day stay in Kos City. Abraham and the waiters are very nice and generous. The food is amazing and the portions are big enough to feed anyone until full. After eating they will always offer you a shot/cocktail on the house and have a nice talk with you. The sunbeds are free and you can order drinks and food to the beach. All in all very nice and friendly environment. They will remenber you if you come back and always seem to be happy to see you. 10/10

We came here for lunch having read the good reviews. We were not disappointed. The owner was friendly and his restaurant is well maintained and very attractive with lots of potted plants and bougainvillea trees. Good menu and had we been there for dinner I would have been spoiled for choice. We both had the chicken gyros and we could have probably shared one portion! Gyros, pitta, chips and super fresh salad and tzatziki - probably the tastiest tzatziki we’ve had. The beer is cold 😀 and their rose wine was very cold and delicious - a bargain for 3 Euros for a big glass.
Recommended and deserving of the good reviews.

Superb restaurant with great service from Abraham and his colleague out front and his wife cooking in the back.
Can’t recommend this restaurant enough T’Bone for 20 euros cooked to absolute perfection and so tasty.
We even had a complementary cake delivered by Abrahams wife which was sublime, if you are in Kos please search out this restaurant because you won’t be disappointed.

Plaza Beach restaurant is certainly one of the best restaurants we visited during our two weeks stay on the beautiful island of Kos. No doubt. Fresh seafood and authentic homemade Greek cuisine. Friendly service by charming Abraham and his lovely wife.

We traveled from the south of the island to meet up with friends for lunch. After researching places to eat we decided on the Plaza beach restaurant,
And what a choice, the food is amazing All freshly cooked to order , and the service is second to none . The beer comes ice cold just what you need on a hot sunny day,
That’s why we traveled the length of the island 2 days later to do it all over again.
The owners are very welcoming and friendly we will definitely return and recommend .

What a lovely traditional Greek restaurant right on the beach. The food is really fresh and delicious and you have the added bonus of free sunbeds so you can spend the day here. We went for lunch everyday of our stay and I had my favourite Greek Salad every day and my husband tried various lunch items that were all really tasty. The owner is really friendly and lovely to chat to. It’s a great setting for dinner too. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed chicken gyros, a meze platter and moussaka over two visits to this beautiful local all-day restaurant run by a husband and wife. Our first visit was just for a lunch, and our second was to spend the day there on sunbeds and have lunch again.
The food was delicious and the portion size was very generous - the meze platter could have probably served 4 as a starter, or served as a whole meal for 2. Freshly made dolmades (vine leaves stuffed with rice) were a highlight. The moussaka was thick and tasty - you could really feel the cinammon and clove. The pastisio was also delicious.
There is a wide range of drinks, including the usual Mythos, at low prices.
Abraham, front of house, looked after us with a wonderful, friendly manner.

Visited for an evening meal with my partner whilst on holiday. The food was outstanding and cooked to perfection.
The service is amazing, all staff are accommodating. We felt welcome from the start, the restaurant owner in particular is so friendly, he will guarantee you have a fantastic experience.

After reading others , we decided here one lunchtime and just had salads . They were beautiful salads, so fresh and flavoursome Abraham grows his own salad items . The tomatoes were so tasty . The portions are large . Following on, an evening later ate here again, the swordfish was excellent , lightly cooked and melted in the mouth. So many places overcook the fish and it’s dry Ans chewy , not here, husband had the ribs and said they were very good and plenty of meat on them.
The rice and salad that was with the swordfish again was fresh and tasty , the rice was light and fluffy not as if it has sat for hours and warmed up .
Enjoyed talking to Abraham about Kos and recent years , the earthquake , refugees and COVID and other topical points , he had time to talk and was so natural and warm . Don’t hesitate to try here if you like fresh and well presented simple food.

The service was so personal it made us feel extremely welcome! Now for the main attraction.. the fresh, gorgeous tasting and big portion food! A huge menu, all amazing choices made by the gentleman's wife in the kitchen. We started with the meze to start which was beyond expectation warm breads, meats, the best coleslaw and hummus we had and the tzatziki was so so refreshing (we will be back to have another before we go!)
My boyfriend had the chicken bzei(?) For mains which was perfectly spicy and served with rice chips and a huge fresh salad and I had the meatballs Served with home made chips, salad and yet more tzatziki yum!! Stuffed we were allowed a doggy bag to scoff in bed when we get back to our hotel! All washed down with huge beers and finished with a tequila sunrise! Thank you so much for everything! We chose based on the reviews and weren't disappointed! Tom & Gary :)

A family run restaurant with amazing food and customer service, we visited on two occasions and had by far the best and most authentic Greek food during our stay in Kos. We were even offered a complimentary drink on both occasions. The restaurant is located right on the beach with beautiful views of the ocean, there are also sun beds that customers can use for the day free of charge. Will definitely be returning on future holidays to Kos!

I really thought twice of writing this review but I feel I have a duty to others to express my views.
There is no doubt that this is an excellent restaurant and Abraham and family are really lovely people.
We have always had excellent meals so it was so special to me to choose Plaza Beach as my favourite restaurant to take two further generations of my family for my special treat, we may never all be together in Kos again.
Reserving a table at 7:30pm we ordered drinks, soon after choosing starters and mains. Taking ages for the starters to arrive Abraham did explain that a member of staff phoned in sick earlier.
We did notice that others that came in after us received food before we did.
It took until after 10:00pm before our mains arrived by which time my family were probably beyond being hungry and didn’t do the excellent food justice, so much wasted.
As it was such a special occasion for me and my wife we were terribly upset that our special evening turned out to be so disappointing. I stress again not the excellent food and location and the lovely family but the service we received on the night wasn’t what we expected.
Although my wife and I will be returning to Kos every year I am afraid although it was my favourite restaurant I shall never return as it will bring back memories of our special night with family that may never happen again ending in disappointment.
I have got this off my chest but believe me this is a top class restaurant with excellent food, such a shame I feel I can’t return.

Thank you so much for your nice review Glad to hear that you have enjoyed our kitchen and our hospitality 😊 We are terribly sorry to hear that we didn't made your evening so special as you expected. it but as I explained you it was a special occasion as a member of the kitchen was sick so my wife was all alone in the kitchen and the restaurant was completed full.We really apologize because nothing would happen if the help of my wife wasn't sick .We run this family place 36 years and we have the experience to serve good food and good service but it happen once you have chosen the wrong night,We would like to apologize one more time and we would be really happy to see you again, You don't need to have bad fellings because for us you are a good friends and not only a customer.We wish you a great holidays.

This is an excellent family run restaurant. Owners, İbrahim and his wife Selma are the nicest people you can hope to meet. So far, we have visited twice and everything was flawless in both occasions. We are currently staying in an all inclusive hotel but once we tried Plaza Beach, we don't want to eat in the hotel anymore😀
Tasty food with great service in a relaxed atmosphere, reasonably priced, by the beach, what else would you want?

Following the trip advisor reviews led us to Plaza Beach. Food was good and the owner made a real effort to make everyone feel welcome. Second restaurant we went to in Kos Town. Following recommendations from Trip Advisor certainly works for good restaurants as many of the other customers had also followed TA. The positive power of social media during these difficult times.

Our visit to this restaurant showed us that if you want the real kos food experience you really do need to steer away from this beach front area and the harbour front. To be clear, there are far far better restaurants in kos town if you venture a little further in. If you want a beach front location and are not fussed by the quality or authenticity of the food then I'm sure this would be fine but if you go of local recommendations you will get a far nicer experience.

Thank you very much for your visit. We are really surprise for your comments. What you really didn't like? I pass personally from every table and ask all our clients if they enjoy their meal. As far as I remember when we have asked you you said that everything is tasty. As far as you didn't like something you could just let as know and we could change it for you with out charge with something else from our big menu.
