This place is a must dine in when in Mazara del Vallo. First of all, it's packed w/locals so reservations are a MUST. The food is delicious and the service stellar. To top it all off, the price point is incredible for what you are getting! If only restaurants in New York were this good, for the same price!

We were recommended to this restaurant by our hotel and it also features in the Lonely Planet guide to Sicily as one of the best seafood restaurants in Sicily. Whilst there is no doubt that the decor is impressive and the food excellent, the overall experience was a little odd. The main menu contained only wines by the glass and... More

After having read about this place in the Lonely Planet we thought that we should not miss it. To be honest, I am sure it was great at some point when the owner still cooked the food himself rather than taking the orders. The taglioni with lobster was bland and the pasta undercooked. The special Bettola pasta was OK. The... More

This is a special place. Serious about food and genuinely warm and welcoming. True hospitality. It's not pretentious, it's the real deal and it's GOOD! We truly loved it!

The food in this restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The chef came at our table (8 adults and 3 children) and describe us the menu, suggesting us a tasting menu, including a mixed of seafood as starters, a pasta dish and a local fresh fish, all accompanied by selected white wine. A fancy restaurant with a very good proportion price/quality. The... More

This super cool restaurant near the train station in Mazaro del Vallo is a must if you're visiting the area. It's got an 'old school' feel to it with old film posters decorating the restaurant. The service is wonderful and there is a homely feel to the place as the staff are so hospitable. The food is absolutely delicious including... More

A must to go when in Mazara, the place is very cozy and friendly. Chef Pietro is always cooking at his best there! Try to ask him what is best for the day!

Just the olio alone is worth the trip but of course the meals are fantastic and local wines served. This place was recommended by the Air BnB provider and is also in my Lonely Planet Sicily guide. Close to train station but no arrivals or departures so quiet. Like most of Mazara this place was a hidden gem.

Our hotel recommended this restaurant and it lived up to its recommendation! Friendly service with the chef taking the orders, this is so far our best meal in Sicily! We shared the seafood carpaccio and had the frito misto and mixed fish/seafood, with an amazing lemon sauce! Wow! The frito misto was exceptional, with a light batter on the calamari... More
