We stopped by this restaurant on our way passing through a small area of town because we recalled someone had highly recommended it a few years ago. We weren't sure what to expect because from the outside it looked quite basic (in a small village surrounded by a few apartments etc). We walked in and were very surprised how lovely... More

Ignore the bad reviews. This place is very nice and the service was fine. Interesting decor and reasonably priced. Quality of the food was excellent (similar to the many restaurants on this trip) with a local spin. Recommended dishes include pasta with bacon, pork loin and boar. All very good. Recommended!

Having read the reviews for this surreptitious find, I will admit trepidation after reading one negative review. However, I really respected the owner's response to that negative review and decided to try it for myself. I even ordered the same dish just to live life dangerously. The entire experience has been nothing short of splendid. As I sit here finishing... More

We are Italian citizens and have been traveling to Tuscany/Umbria for years. We stopped here on the way to our wine tasting locally. We were a little concerned because it was quiet and a little dated. The son of the owners told us that business was slow/bad and I should have walked then. The first appetizer that came out was... I'm really astonished to read this review since there should has been a switching in the restaurant the guest have been in. Our Restaurant has been opened in 2012, modern furbnished even if collocated in an ancient building. Fortunately our business is currently good and the restaurant is owned by o couple (me and my wife), so none can have... More

Absolutely lovely and elegant place to sit and enjoy a meal and a bottle of wine. The wine selection is excellent and well priced (especially for someone from LA!). The service is warm and professional. The food is very good, though the secondi were slightly less impressive. I find that to be almost the norm in Italy though. Every restaurant... More

The good news is, they are open from 11am through the evening so you can get a meal through the traditional siesta period...and that's about it, well except for the cat that greats you as you come in! Try to make reservations? They pickup the phone then hang up...6 times...? So we go, there are people eating there, a good... More

We are sorry the experience didn't matched your expectation. We are currently reachable by phone, email, facebook 24 hours per day, probably the number dialed wasn't right. The cat is not owned by the property, anyway in a countryside location can be found some pets somewhere around us. All our portions are usually considered large, all of them are served... More

Excellent food. Good Value. Near Dievole Villa. Budget hotel next door that one may consider in very good location.

This place seems to be a hidden gem on the road to Sienna with a delicious food. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant, the staff was kind and friendly. We had some starter, pasta and pizza and of course a glass of Chianti, all of them were excellent. Highly recommended.

Limited menu but it was delicious. Glad I only went for dessert on the final day otherwise I would now be as big as a house. Biscotti and vin santo was lovely as was the sweet wine cheesecake. This is a restaurant to relax and have a lovely meal with friends and family
