Situated right on the main street, opposite Bar Central, this is a great find. Spaced tables, cool in summer, excellent service and superb pasta. We also enjoyed the Hake. House wines superb value. Lunch came to €25 a head.

I have lived in Italy for two years now, and their truffle spaghetti carbonara is literally the most delicious pasta dish I have ever eaten. It was so intensely pleasurable I cannot even describe it! The dessert was also fantastic-- a ricotta cake which had the most vibrant tasting raspberry sauce I have ever had. Do not miss this restaurant.... More

After a few trials in Rome at the best recommended restaurants, my wife and I almost gave up hope on the "perfect pasta". We were proven wrong when we tried this restaurant. We ordered Pica pomodoro pasta and truffle spaghetti and were blown away...the pasta itself tasted awesome and the sauces are mind blowing. Prices are amazing as well... Definitely... More

We found the restaurant just as it opened 19:30 without a reservation, and managed to get a table outside on the pedestrian street, which were really lucky, as they normally don't have tables outside. Ask the waiters to put tables out, if not, as this gives you the extra dimension together with the wonderfull food served. Kids playing at the... More

We have been visiting Italy every year now for well over 10 years and “La Taverna da Ciacco” is the one restaurant that we can absolutely recommend without the slightest equivocation. It is quite simply the best restaurant in the Val d'Orcia region, if not in all of Tuscany. It is located just off the main square (the “Piazza della... More

We went without booking and because it was quite late i think we had a chance for a table. Service was very good and the food was amazing. I had the tagliatelle with ragu di cinghiale (wildboar) and it was amazing. I think the same in winter it makes more sense than in July but i enjoyed it anyway. Wine... More

We were staying at a nearby Agroturisimo and this place was recommended to us. It was lovely. There's an upstairs and downstairs but the downstairs is nicer because of the fireplace. This is much more than a traditional Tuscan restaurant with a dozen entrées. This has several dozen entrées that are all very interesting and delicious. My wife had the... More

Having read the reviews on trip advisor we liked the look of this restaurant. We were browsing the menu outside the door at 19.35 (the restaurants states that it opens at 19.30) when a member of staff breezed past with a quick good evening and went in and re-shut the door. The rest of the staff were still sitting around... More

The food and the service was top notch. We are so glad we stumbled upon this restaurant. We went for a late dinner around 9:30 pm on a Monday evening, they were so patient with us and didn't rush us at all even though the restaurant technically closes at 10 pm. The presentation was excellent and food tasted even better!... More
