Excellent food, dishes you haven't had before, made by people who know what they're doing and obviously enjoy preparing delicious meals, from starter to desert. Will most definately return before going back home.

Fabulous food. Mariza, the cook, knows what she is doing! It is all done with love and attention. And: Donatella speaks English!

Travelling with a three year old, we have so far on this holiday stopped at many restaurants on this holiday, some of which you wouldn't have stopped at unless necessary. I had started to believe that there was no such thing as bad food in Italy. The food at Il Libridinoso wasn't bad, just extremely disappointing. The house wine was... More

Il Libridinoso is a small, family-run restaurant and pizzeria in the town of Murlo. The restaurant has a quirky, eclectic vibe, with food-related quotes painted on the walls and books scattered on tabletops when you enter (Il Libridinoso, loosely translated, means bookworm). Most of the tables are located on a terrace overlooking a valley and this is by far one... More

We discovered the restaurant when we visited several local cities, amongst others Murlo. After checking with TripAdvisor, we decided to come back for a late dinner. The food was absolutely wonderful, and plenty. A real Toscany meal. The artistic tone in the restaurant, and the view, only enhances the experience. The service is not fast, but friendly and helpful.

The restaurant is in the little hill town of Murlo, close to the Etruscan Museum. We sat on the terrace at the back and had a lovely meal. The staff were very helpful and even made pizzas with sausage and peppers made to look like a face for our grand daughter. Good food and wine at reasonable prices.

I recommend this place with the highest recs for these reasons: unbelievably beautiful views of Tuscan countryside: hills, olive groves, farmland, woods. And the very interesting, genuine, completely seasonal and local menu, (fabulous cipolline onions and cavolo nero contorni, vegetable side dishes) pastas typical of the region, pizzas, great local wine, amazingly wonderful desserts. And wifi too! This place can't... More

The menu had lots of traditional Tuscan options, and the presentation was excellent. The bruchetta is a must try as is the tagitaile. The house red was awesome, we had no room for dessert!
