Heard good things after moving in to this area but sadly disappointed. Fish ended up batterless as it was completely stuck to the paper and the chips were just soggy and greasy and not nice. Wont be back.

Discovered while hiking on Rochdale canal towards Todmorden.Gluten free fish and chips available. No choice of fish only haddock.Gf batter crispy but chips were a little soggy and overcooked.Battered potato scallop included free of charge.Mushy peas tasteless and too much fluid.Waitress delightfull and owner came over and we had an hilarious episode which made the lunch.More entertainment than gourmet but will... Visit here frequently and this has to be the best chippy in our area We love it and would recommend it be tried At times it can be busy but if you are prepared to wait a little while then tables become free.

Visited Grandma Pollards last week and the food was delicious. We were greeted by the owner and what a lovely man he is. Nothing was too much trouble. The place itself was spotless and the staff were polite and courteous. We did share a vanilla slice after our meal which was delicious. Thank you Grandma Pollards for a wonderful luncheon... More

I came here now and again as a treat from Great Harwood, Lancashire when im about and about in Yorkshire. I stopped here with my grand parents for dinner. I ordered a Sausage chips & Gravy with a cup of tea for about £6.00. The food is amazing. I would also recommend any pie. All food is made freshly made... More

Popped here for lunch with our children and the staff here are great. Tony is a legend and certainly knows how to treat his customers. Lovely lunch in a great environment. Always worth a visit.

Description
This is not an ordinary chip shop. There is a lovely resturant or an old bus to dine in. In summer eat outside or by the canal.Childrens menu and wide range of meat pies and puddings available. The vanilla slices are great as wellaethe fruit pies All home made. All avilable with tea/coffee, bread and butter. Just go in the chp shop, order and the meal is brought to you at your table. The service is excellent. It is an experience to dine in the bus usually accompanied by 60s/70s music in the backgrund. The bus can be hired for private parties. The shop is open Mon. and Tues till 3.30pm and Wed.Thurs.and Fri. till 8pm. Not open Sat and Sun. It really is an experience (very good one), and well worth a visit. The place is spotless. We have been going many years now and there .are many regulars. I would recommend the chippy for a very enjoyable experience.
