We went to Prashad for the second time yesterday and it was excellent. Tasty and fresh food which is delivered with excellent service. Not that much more expensive than you're average curry house and much better quality. Highly recommend.

Probably one of the best Indian meals we've ever had out. It left us inspired to try cooking a few new types of curry at home. By far the best meal we had during our weekend in Leeds.

There is not question about it, this is very sophisticated Indian food and is a completely different take on Indian food. Easily the best in West Yorkshire.

I have visited prashad's for years and have tried their food before and after their Ramsey fame. This is the first time at their new location. My expectations were high. The starters didn't disappoint. Coconut balls were better than I remember! Now they are amazing...More

Ooh! That's a good question. It's in quite an unusual location so may be tricky via public transport.

If you tell them you wouldn't like any dish with peas they would make the thali that way. You can request the kind of dish that you would like to have. They usually keep guests request.

Description
Prashad is an award winning Indian vegetarian restaurant in the heart of West Yorkshire. It is based in a renovated pub building in Drighlington, which has been transformed into an intimate and vibrant Gujarati eaterie. It features a large bar area where the in-house mixologist serves up perfectly-matched cocktails, locally-brewed beers and wines with roadside snacks and Indian tapas. There are three different dining areas and a snug that can be individually booked for private parties. The open pass kitchen brings the passionate Head Chef and her team closer to the customers. In the last 12 months alone we have been awarded the Morrisons Magazine Great Grub Award 2013, the Yorkshire Life Chef of the Year 2013 (which Minal and Kaushy won jointly), the Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand 2014, and the Yorkshire Evening Post Oliver Awards Best Indian Restaurant 2014!
