First visit here. Beautiful food and great service. A nice change from a typical meat curry. Well worth a visit.

Having visited many Michelin restaurants over the years our expectations were very high, however we were sadly disappointed. We chose the taster menu of 7 courses but found them tasting very much the same except one which did stand out. The meal was certainly lacking...More

I am not vegetarian, and I only eat Indian food occasionally, but if I was only allowed to eat one more meal in Yorkshire, I would go to Prashad. If you are in Leeds or Bradford then jump in a cab for 15 minutes and...More

My teenage son was aghast when I told him we were going to a vegetarian restaurant. His indignation quickly turned to frustration when he tried the paneer masala that I ordered for him: "I'm really angry," he said "because this is really, really good!" I've...More

Ooh! That's a good question. It's in quite an unusual location so may be tricky via public transport.

If you tell them you wouldn't like any dish with peas they would make the thali that way. You can request the kind of dish that you would like to have. They usually keep guests request.

Prashad is an award winning Indian vegetarian restaurant in the heart of West Yorkshire. It is based in a renovated pub building in Drighlington, which has been transformed into an intimate and vibrant Gujarati eaterie. It features a large bar area where the in-house mixologist serves up perfectly-matched cocktails, locally-brewed beers and wines with roadside snacks and Indian tapas. There are three different dining areas and a snug that can be individually booked for private parties. The open pass kitchen brings the passionate Head Chef and her team closer to the customers. In the last 12 months alone we have been awarded the Morrisons Magazine Great Grub Award 2013, the Yorkshire Life Chef of the Year 2013 (which Minal and Kaushy won jointly), the Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand 2014, and the Yorkshire Evening Post Oliver Awards Best Indian Restaurant 2014!
