Out for a walk and decided to drop into this place for a drink. Saw the menu, and setting, ended up leaving 2 hours later after lunch. Every bit as good as previous posters have eluded to. Food very good. Relaxed atmosphere. Very helpful and friendly staff. Menu del dia well worth it.

Really nice place apparently run by two industrious young women (on the two occasions we were there). The first occasion we ate an amazing delicious salad and two meat dishes off the main menu....well prepared and thoughtful (e.g nice dressing on salad) but probably a little expensive compared to the average. We returned and being a little under the weather... More

It's reliable, which is a faint praise, Pizza is the default option around here if you are not keen on pig meat of every description. The place changed hands about a year ago and it became less boring. The staff are pretty good though I have had a waitress who could not understand that I wanted a bottle of wine... More

You get what you pay for but I don't mean that in a negative way - meals were of a reasonable quality for the price paid - good family staples (burgers and pizzas etc) for a fair price. We visited twice, the second time on a Wednesday night when live jazz music is performed - the musicians were very good... More

La Almazara is situated in the centre of Orgiva and is one of the only two places you can eat in a garden or courtyard setting. In winter there is a roaring log fire when necessary heating the indoor restaurant. Seats around 80 in the garden perhaps a few less indoors. Specialises in pizzas but has an extended menu offering... More

We visited twice, excellent internationalish menu, really great food, and very friendly efficient professional service. Returned a third time, hmmm... not quite as good, service just lacked the sparkle we had previously, and the food didn't seem quite as great. Still had a good time. Nice big open courtyard setting, gravelly ground (not suitable for high heals or gravel allergies).... More

Had some lovely pizzas and wine here during our stay in orgiva. We went on the live music nights so it was nice and busy with a good atmosphere. Nice to be off the road with the outdoor terrace. It was also really good value for money.

Visited with my family. Opens at 8pm for everything meals and the restaurant is located conveniently in the town. A nice outdoor eating area with lemon trees and a little playground for small children. We got a table and it was quite busy but service was very good. The young waitress was very cheerful and friendly. Food was quick and... More

A friendly restaurant with excellent service despite it getting busier as the night went on. Good ambience and suitable for children youngsters and the more discerning diner. The food was delicious and very well priced. Wines were also very good value. Our waitress informed us that one of the salads we were ordering was large and she was correct. I... More
