We were in Progreso for a cruise port. We wanted beach front seats to just lounge all day. No charge as long as we were drinking or eating. We all had beach loungers (worn but did the job) in front of this restaurant. Eddie served us all day beers, mixed drinks and food. He even gave us a parting tequila... More

I had their Sopa de pollo y papas and club sandwich. Both were good for the price. They even served tapas before my meal so it was a good place to go.

Staff are friendly but are unable to handle groups of people. Bathrooms need updated. These things need to be attended to for them to bring in gringos during the winter months.

The staff was very friendly with some English spoken. Food was very good. We sat and watched the parade and we had a lot of fun.

On a busy holiday-day we enjoyed a lovely view of the beach from a table at the front of the restaurant. Service was attentive and fast. Our fish was excellent; fresh and cooked to order. I had the filet with Veracruz-style salsa, which was good. But even better was my husband’s mero Normandy-style – it was delicious and really special.... More

I had the pescado frito and shared some breaded fish also. They were both the best that I have had since I have been here. I have been here two months and eaten in many restaurants. The service was great and they take good care of you there. If you have any questions just ask to talk to the owner... More

We have been here 3 times for breakfast in our first 5 days here. Great food good service good price. They really know how to cook eggs here. Many different types of breakfast dishes to try. We will be back a few times more at least.

Don't do it! On a whim we took the collectivo from Chuburna to Progreso. We had walked to a local market prior...a long walk...so when we got there we stopped at the first restaurant we saw. OMG! I don't recall ever having such horrific service and terrible meal. We had coffee and 4 times asked for cream. Finally when he... More

Lousy service...by the time we got lechwe for coffee, the coffee was cold. Took one hour for one breakfast and there was just one other table. Breakfast was lousy...never going back.

After travelling 30 hours we had our breakfast here. We had mexican styled breakfast and it consisted of scrambled eggs, tea/coffee, juice, bread, marmalade and you can drink not just one cup of coffee. The place was alongside Malecon and had the view to the beach. We were there quite early and it was nice to watch the city to... More
