We stumbled into this "ristorante" after a long walk on the magnificent beach. Take away the French Riviera - the Italian is more - of everything... Anyway - our gamble was rewarded by a great meal, fresh and cooked to perfection (veal, fish, veggies and wonderful desserts). Too bad we'll probably never be again in the area...

Four of us dropped in for dinner. No spaces on the outside but plenty of room inside. Mainly fish on offer - particularly limited on starters and pasta if you are not a fish lover. We had a prawn salad (very nice), smoked meat and a mixed "smoked fish and meat platter" to start (one skipped the starters). The smoked... More

We were greeted by waiting staff who gradually unbent as I tried my recently acquired but limited Italian. I had tuna steak seared and presented as tagliata on a bed of rocket. Simply the best tuna I have eaten since leaving Tokyo. My friend had a really REALLY tasty dish of baby cuttlefish and artichokes, fantastico! We live behind Nice... More

Delicious selection on antipasti Food is freshly cooked and fresh All our dishes were good and saw many others I would have liked to eat Fritto misto looked good and well cooked local fish Found the staff the least charming of any encountered on our trip but would put up with it for the food!

The title says it all, a simple menu but very good and tasty food. Had we not eaten there on our last evening at Santo Stefano, we would probably have gone again.

Claudio is a great chef and we have been going there for many years and have never been disappointed! The fish antipasti are great, so is all the rest! There is a dehors section but when its very hot one might want to sit inside in the air conditioning! The portions are exactly right...I was perplexed at another review saying... More

During our short stay in Liguria we discovered (amongst many 'tourist' restaurants) this original Italian spot. Nice dishes, good wine-list.

Presentation a bit dull, but the food was absolutely OK. Cheerful, helpful staff made up for it. We should probably always order what they recommend here! Much better in the village.
