Buono, buono, buono. I really like this restaurant where everybody is smiling, food is very good and the ambiance is cozy but refined. Located close by a medieval castle has a beautiful outside view of the Tuscan hills and wine fields. Waiters are friendly and ready to suggest the best wine to pair with delicious foods served. The price is... More

My wife and I ate at this Osteria in May of 2005 and were blown away by this wonderful taste of Tuscan cuisine. It is far from any large city and will take a special effort to find it, but it is well worth the drive.

One of the great pleasures in travelling for us is to eat in good restaurants. We were recommended Osteria di Passignano for lunch by our hotel. It was a wonderful dining experience. The food and wine were delicious.

It is a very nice restaurant with excellent food and an incredible wine menu (not only Antinori, but a vast choice if Italian and foreign wines). If you want to experience the typical "country" Tuscan cuisine don't go there. This is a one-star Michelin restaurant and the food offer is adequate to such a level; it is Italian cuisine with... this is without question the "highest end" restaurant you will run across in this area of tuscany. its beautiful inside and very well appointed. its not a typical tuscan country eatery and i would not necessarily categorize the food as pure italian, let alone tuscan.....perhaps more french than italian. also, do not expect large portions. however, its very good. we... Good food but did not feel Italian. We enjoy the simple local fare that Tuscany is so famous for. This felt like a fine restaurant you find in New York, London or Paris. Not one of the guests there was speaking Italian!

This is a countryside fine dining restaurant, where the tasting menu is built around Antinori wines. I thought the dinner experience was a really great one, one of the best I have had until the last entree. The tasting menu doesn't have any dessert - most likely due to the Antinori wine pairing where they do not want to take... More

Eat here 5 times, 3 times very well and twice could not stop themselves to screw the foreigner with a reheated pizza and leftover sauces. Service depends on the mood of the day and avoid going there when a football game is on or during tourist season

Our Concierge at Casa Lucardo, recommended the restaurant for an exceptional dinner. It was our first night in Lucardo and to drive on the countryside narrow roads was a mental challenge, but we got there in under an hour. We would have loved to get there well before sunset to enjoy the town and experience the area more, but that... More
