Tony and I stopped here a few Sundays ago and realised that it started service at 12:30 pm, Not to worry we returned Sunday just past and had a great meal, Good company: Tourists from France, and great views. The weather was wonderful and we could not have asked for a better afternoon. It started with a walk from Villa... More

I would not advise this restaurant. The prices are high, the portions are too big and ordinary. The service is bad, they don't check up and forget ordered beverages. A shame

We stumbled upon this this restaurant whilst drifting through Chianti, We felt we had found a locals hangout , full of Italian families, children friendly. Our choice of dish, a fillet steak with truffles was superb. The waiters were flat out but friendly, price much in line with everywhere else (2 mains 3 glasses of red puddings and coffee Euro... We passed the restaurant on the way to a tour of the monastery at Badia Di Passignano and decided to have lunch there as it's in a beautiful setting, amongst the vineyards, with fantastic views. The food was good, though expensive compared to better food we had in other restaurants. What we didn't like was the unfriendly and slow service.... More

If you haven't been to the village of Badia A Passignano then you must. It is the most idyllic Tuscan location. Complete with working monastery, three restaurants (including an Antinori osteria that has the full Antinori range of wines for tasting) and all set amidst breath taking scenery. You will find the very excellent La Cantinetta Di Passignano. Beautifully decorated... More

My third visit to Tuscany over the year, and came here twice this time. Very picturesque spot, good service and the following dishes were excellent: truffle ravioli (my personal favoured way of eating truffles), prawns and calamari. Probably not the cheapest restaurant in area, but well worth trying.

The food is sophisticated and good and the environment is beautiful... But the service is not very friendly. Out of three waiter, only one was very nice, the others were rude. The menu was only in Italian, so OK, we can try to adapt, but in a so touristy area, we could expect an English menu. The food is expensive,... More

Perfect place to relax with friends and family. Beautiful bar with a mindblowing view from the terrace. We had drinks and a delicious plate with a variety of cheeses and cold meat. There is a wide selection of wine, cocktails and finger food. Everyone there is very welcoming and friendly. The staff gives individual recommendations according to the menu. It... More

On top of a raw of hills with a great view Cantinetta di Passignano invites to relax on canvas covered terraces or in the dining hall. In April it was heated with gas burners. We had various versions of fresh, even raw fish and plenty of local wine. A great place recommended by local friends.
