Excellent restaurant, very very good food (The John Dory fish ! Wow so nice), and very good service. The wine also (a spanish one) was perfect. Not so cheap but it definitely worth it ! We will come back here if we get again in the same place !

Been here with a family (2 children, 3 parents). Would not recommend to anybody: - everything was so salty (I mean SO SALTY) that we had to return most of the the meals - service was terrible - hardly noticed once we claimed the saltiness of the food - we were with the kids who had to stay on plain... You must visit this little restaurant if you are in Catalunya. It's serves traditional Catalan food in a refine approach. It's truly mouthwatering. It's expensive but you pay for the quality, the presentation & the attention to detail. If it hasn't received a Michelin star it will soon.

Enjoyed a 24 euro menu and was greatly impressed by the quality of the produce. Highlight was a fillet of corball (bit like dorada but better), really fresh, generous dish. Delicious. Nice wine list too with lots of options from local region Terra Alta whose garnatxa blanca works brilliantly with fish. Highly recommended.

We had been told that this was among the best choices for dining im Ametlla de Mar, and certainly we were not dissapointed. The place is nice, simply decorated by agreeable; if you can ask for a table in the covered terrace. They serve fresh seafood, well cooked, as if it came right out of the water. The gambes rojes... We went to La LLotja during the Easter break with my family. We did not have a reservation but the waitress was so kind to put us on a table that had a late reservation. The food was original, best quality ever. We shared some starters and then I had the cod with black rice that was to die for.... More

Good friendly service food was very rustic not quite to my liking, I did not expect to get chunks of lamb in a fish paella. Maybe I should have tried a different dish. Overall it was good value for money

We had dinner here, two adults and a 4yo boy. We had 1 Entree and 2 Main courses, 1 ration de croquetas, a bottle of white wine, water and coffee. The food was quite good and well presented. The entrée (three scallops) was excellent but rather small given its price. The fish was very good, the filet was ordered “rare”... More

In summary: it is a regular restaurant with a delusion of grandeur. They charge prices (20-30 euro for a main dish) some 50% above surrounding establishments and serve a quarter of the food. Food preparation is poor to average. As for the ingredients, the tuna was of excellent quality and the octopus was of poor quality. Service was rude and... More

The quality and consistency (we have been there 6 times!) of the food is just amazing. Real attention to the details has made the experience always outstanding. We are usually very difficult with the food, especially when prices are not cheap. Last time we went there it came out even better than the previous time. Chipirones, scallops, sea bass, etc...were... More
