A German styled restaurant in Salt Rock. Local bar as well with good atmosphere. Adequate menu with some German traditional dishes. My meal was not that great and a bit unappetizing however my wife enjoyed her's very much. The service was good and friendly.

Our host "Doubt" was a champion backed up by the Owner Chris. Lovely friendly atmosphere with food to match. Prices excellent. A definite venue to visit. Nothing was too much trouble. All four of us had the Eisbein. Could compete with any German restaurant in...More

Having visited Siggi's a number of times before, we had to support them once again, but this time for a belated lunch. Their roast pork was excellent, almost beating their Eisbein they offer for the very hungry. Their service was very accommodating, both inside and...More

The food is authentically German. The owners father used to run and own the Wartburger Hoff in Wartberg. You are always heartily welcomed whether you have booked or not. The service is excellent and the Beer selection fantastic. The Icebein is a legend. I have...More

Siggi’s are well known for their delicious Eisbein. Lovely restaurant with a family atmosfere. There is a play area for the kids, and enough Tv’s to watch the sport. They have the best imported beer

Excellent play area for kids, where they can go wild while-u-eat. Staff are friendly and they have a great range of craft beers and craft gins. Gin portions are huge too..😀

I love Eisben... we went to Siggi's because my father has always raved about their food. The esbien was average, and over done/dry on the one side only. The restaurant seems to be a bit like a Granny's house, and cluttered with ornaments and dust....More

My sons ordered the children's menu calamari. It was so tough they could hardly eat it. I ordered the seafood platter. Everything was loaded with garlic. The food was edible, but far from good fare. Reading the reviews, we had high expectation which were not...More

Description
Welcome to Siggi's German Restaurant and Pub. Siggi's German restaurant was opened by ourselves, Chris Schaedle and Chris Kossmann in October 2008. By using the name Siggi's, we hope to carry forward the tradition of great hospitality and excellent food which became an institution over the years at Siggi Schaedle's country hotel in the Natal Midlands, attracting guests from throughout Southern Africa and Europe. Chris Schaedle spent a lifetime with his parents in the Hotel and Restaurant trade and has taken great pride in continuing with his families legacy. We are extremely proud of our restaurant and over the months have seen our loyal customer base grow, with repeat travellers from all parts of South Africa and the world, arriving to sample 'a little taste of Germany'
