So I had the honour of being invited down to the VIP launch night this week and boy was I blown away! 😲 There was an insane amount of talent in the kitchen, dishes constructed so beautifully, incorporating perfectly matched flavours and textures 😍 Service...was impeccable, all of the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and handled allergens with ease 🥰 Head chef Matthew has confirmed 90% of the menu will be gluten free and making adaptations to accommodate will be easy 👏🏼 There will also be plenty of vegan options available 🌱 I’m a big fan of shopping local so it was lovely to hear their ingredients are all sourced locally ❤️ Another huge plus was their price point, it’s very rare you can enjoy quality food for affordable prices! All the more reason to make this your new go to restaurant for date nights or much needed catch ups 🙌🏼 Disclaimer: I’ve only included pictures of my dishes which were adapted gluten free 😁 All in all, I cannot encourage that you get yourself booked in enough! We can’t wait to get back down to enjoy the amazing food and vibes that this little gem has to offer 👌🏼More

Lucky to have been invited to the launch event for the new Signature restaurant @sixbellspenmark. The tasting menu was fantastic beef and ale bon bon canapés, beetroot carpaccio, scallops with prosciutto, cod in a curried veloute with mussels, oriental duck and an amazing daiquiri inspired dessert....Get your bookings in now before this place becomes so popular you can’t get in. I should also mention that the restaurant is part of a beautiful country pub with guest ales and a roaring log fire in the colder months.More

Me and my partner came to the six bells for his birthday meal. The restaurant is stunning and cosey, the staff were so friendly and the food oh my gosh. The nicest food I've ever eaten. My partner who has been to fine dining restaurants...also said the same. When we received the bill I couldn't believe the prices.. I'd expect and happily pay double for the quality of food that we had. This is definitely going to be our new regular. Thank you!More

Headed to Six Bells, Penmark for our Easter Day lunch and wow what a great choice we made! Warm, friendly atmosphere, the staff were very attentive. There was a choice of 2 or 3 courses. The food was outstanding and served very promptly, we had...the Brie to start followed by a delicious roast, we opted for chicken and the beef, everything on the plate was excellent quality, piping hot and the beef was the best! it just fell apart it was so tender. The dessert selection was mouthwatering we chose a delicious apple and honeycomb tarte tatin. The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. Hats off to Chef Matthew and the team! Outstanding food, outstanding value.More

Having had another venue cancel a longstanding booking for a family celebration with just two days' notice, I rang the Six Bells without much hope they might be able to accommodate 14 at such short notice. They could not have been more helpful from the...start even though we took over half the restaurant. The night itself went extremely well; lovely atmosphere, brilliant service, excellent tasty food, great value for money, and very accommodating to the fact we had brought our own birthday cake (the celebration was a joint 60th/85th). I would definitely return and highly recommend this gem of an Inn to everyone! Special shout out to the young man who looked after us from the start of the booking to the finish of the meal. He is a real asset to the business and a superstar of customer service!More

Threw a curved ball to The Six Bells team on the busiest day of the year!!!! And they knocked it back right out of the park..!! A late booking for a big party of mixed ages was accommodated and the service was impeccable. Everyone said...how delicious the food was, a real testimony to the new kitchen regime. Whoever made a last minute cancellation and allowed us to go, I thank you. You really don’t know what you missed.!More

Yes, agree with the above response. Unsure of overnight accommodation at the Six Bells Pub. We have stayed at the Hotel near the airport several times when departing Wales.
