This place was great. Lots of choices, really good Mexican food, fresh food, great service and reasonable prices. A must when you are in Anquilla.

We have been here several times and each time I feel like it's a chore for the restaurant to have guests. There web site states they are open till 9:15 which is weird in itself but we experienced first hand tonite two people coming in tonite at 9:00 and actually comparing watches with the staff to see if they could... If you go to Anguilla and feel like you want to try what the island has to offer by way of cuisine, let me save you some time. Just eat at Picante. The food is tasty and always hits the same high standard of consistency. Chloe, the owner, is charming and friendly and pays attention. The service is welcoming and... More

Friendly staff and a casual dining experience can't hide the fact that the food is basic rather than excellent. Chicken chimichanga lacked flavours and the accompanying sides were also so-so. My wife's food didn't seem much better. Potentially we just had an unlucky experience as people we met were full of praise. Probably the best Mexican on the Island but... More

My family and I liked this restaurant so much we came back twice. All the food and drinks were top notice and service was great too. It is a cab ride from most hotels on meads bay but was well worth it.

The tacos wrapped in tacos are our favorite. Bring back the chili! We joined them for dinner two nights of the week that we visited. They are open during the summer season when some are closed.

Went there last night for its last night of the season. It was packed: good food, good vibes and good drinks. They are shut until sometime in October I think, but I would definitely return - great escape spot from the Viceroy (walkable from the entrance).

We had two fabulous dinners during our visit, our good friends from the Frangipani joined us both times and was a hit . The grilled corn is to die for... and the margaritas to back up the corn are on point. Their Picante tacos were excellent, we will be back in a year or two. I'm not waiting another ten... More

Consistently good food and service. The drinks were delicious and we all left stuffed. Prices were reasonable for the island and the atmosphere was very pleasing with good music and a nice breeze. They do like reservations though but they still seated us right away without them.
