Our group of five dined at Rainforest Hideaway and we were all equally impressed!! The combination between our attentive server, Rachel, and the ambience of the restaurant made for a great first start. All of us ordered the scallops and crab cake. The scallops were cooked perfectly and the crab cake had a great ratio of crab to the patty... More

Dear "Anonymous" Thanks for your lovely review of dining at Rainforest. The crab and scallop starter is my personal favourite and the Lion Fish is our biggest selling main course. Great eating fish - with huge environmental benefits. We need more restaurants to serve it as the best way to eradicate this voracious pest which is destroying reefs throughout the... More

Terrible food in every way apart from one thing, Lion Fish. Terrible service. Way over priced, not worth the hype.

Dear gbpr2017 Glad you enjoyed the Lion Fish. Looking at the Tripadvisor review of your accommodation and excursions, it seems to be the only thing you liked in St Lucia. Glad we contributed a little to your enjoyment...... I e-mailed you via TripAdvisor as soon as I saw your post to get a better perspective on what went wrong for... More

One has to take a small boat to this wonderful place along the water. You have a view of the yachts, catamarans, mountains and hotels up on the hills. The menu is excellent and the plates come with loads of side dishes. Lovely music to listen, have another cocktail before you go back home.

Had the best dinner on the island! It was romantic, delicious and the live music was wonderful. The jazzy singer is a star.

Definitely one of the best restaurants in Marigot Bay. Great live music and terrific service. I would highly recommend a trip over on the ferry.

A really nice place to dine and relax. Good food and drinks and service superb! Hidden in the vegetation you find a dingy dock, climb up and you are there!!

Dear meckarmarte Thanks for your great review. I guess you are a sailor -arriving from the dinghy dock. For terrestrial tourists there is a free ferry from the dock on the south side of the bay - close to the car park and taxi rank..! John Verity Owner - Rainforest Hideaway More

We enjoyed a delicious meal at the Rainforest hideaway sitting by the water's edge two nights ago. The friendly welcome we received as we stepped off the ferry set the tone for the evening. Our waitress was professional and friendly as was the manager who came to check we were happy with everything. The scallops and crab cakes were delicate... More

Went here on a Saturday night - last night of our vacation while staying in Marigot Bay. Delicious food, great cook, nice jazz! Starters aren't large but very tasty (we had tuna tartar - superb); mains come with 2 sides and are decent in size. Shrimps and lionfish - both were lovely. The cook was lovely - we met him... More

Dear AVDBnyra Thanks for taking the time to write a review of dining at Rainforest.
