I went in with my sister recently for breakfast while we were in town. A always good choice for the morning. We had the Shoppers Breakfast which was filling and cheap. Great value.

Tried here again after some time, I really thought they would have got there act together by now. Soup cold, the service is still terrible, they don't appear to enjoy their job at all. Will never go back.

What a breath of fresh air from the norm. Lovely and a nice experience. I would recommend anyone visiting Accrington to give it a try, it is only small but worth a nice cup of tea and scones the old way. It's just outside the main centre and there is a petrol station across road and a small retail area... More

We walked in to find the 3 staff struggling to change a till roll. After 10 mins finally took our order. 2 cheeseburgers at £4.95 each. These were cheap burger van burgers on bread that was missing half the bottom of it. The 3 kids trying to run this place are doing serious harm. The service was shocking, the way... More

Sounded nice enough from the outside and had a decent hygiene rating (5 i think) so in we went. Every single table had used plates/cups on. We found the "cleanest" - moved the cups to a different table and wiped with a napkin. Went to order pancakes (they were on the menu) to be told (rather abruptly and without apology)... More

Me and my daughter happened to be in Arndale last week when we decided to go and get some lunch, as it was close by and I would of killed for a good brew we decided to pop in here. Big mistake... The atmosphere was dull and it was freezing, I noticed broth and dumplings on the menu and on... More

...when my wife and I visited Lancashire Tea Rooms in Accrington Arndale. First the good point - it was clean. But the food was expensive for what it was - my jacket potato was tiny with no butter and a small portion of chilli. Not many pieces of scampi for the missus and her chips/peas were tasteless. And don't get... More

miserable staff, nice, modern food, slightly over-priced, cold and not very comfortable cafe, tea is horrible, coffees are great, the little, middle aged woman who looks like 'the boss' has a fab singing voice, Emelie Sande...Clown
