Nothing here not to love. Very unusual, quirky in all respects! Very friendly welcome and nothing seemed to be too much. Staff take pride in what they are doing. A very lucky find, stumbled across it while looking for somewhere for a cuppa and a snack. Very good menu, sandwiches made fresh to order and selection of teas. Well worth... More

Having shown friends around Saltaire and wanting to get off the tourist route, TA'd Shipley cafes and up popped this gem! Tucked away down a side street and under the gaze of Shipley's least beautiful tower is this gem! Quirky in its contents with lots of vintage, polite attentive service, a great cuppa and yummy scones the Interlude was a... More

We have visited this Tearoom on many occasions. This time we ordered a pot Darjeeling tea with lemon, a decaf latte and two pieces of beautiful cake. The food was delicious. They always offer a box to take things away if you need it. The owner is very knowledgable, and is friendly, approachable and always willing to go the extra... More

The place is full of quirky historical accessories and decorations. We had a family occasion booked which I would definitely recommend as there is already a theme when you step in! I'm unsure how much it is as I was a guest but they did an afternoon tea with a soup as a starter and a selection of sandwiches and... More

Thank you for taking the time to review Interlude Tea Room. We're so pleased you enjoyed your experience and have recommended us to others. Our Afternoon Cream Tea package, which you enjoyed with your family, is very popular with our customers as the soup, bread and cakes are all hand-made on the premises by our own fair hands. We're sorry... More

A warm welcome awaits you as you arrive, the tables are all set with china cups, saucers and sugar bowls, patterns being mixed and matched. There are interesting ornaments, objects and pieces of clothing around on the window sills, shelves and chair backs. The staff are very friendly and helpful, advising you on the menu. Meals can be shared if... More

Superb tea and coffee in an amazing 1930s atmosphere. From the pictures on the wall to the period clothes for sale and the delicate china cups this extraordinary coffee shop is steeped in authentic details. Exquisite scones. Unique and brilliant.

I stumbled across this cafe as I had a meeting at the Town Hall. It truly is an unusual place taking you back to the 1920s. The detail of the cafe is remarkable and the set out both intriguing and charming. The service is great and if you need the waiter you simply ring a bell. I was in a... More

I visited Interlude Tea Room with my best friend for her birthday and we're both very glad we did! It's a well decorated space, very vintage and cute. The afternoon tea was delicious, they catered well for dietary requirements and the staff were very welcoming. Would definitely recommend!

Description
Hidden away behind the indoor market, Interlude Tea Room brings an ambience and quality not often found in today's busy times. Great food, all made and baked on the premises (including their bread), wonderful service and a chance to chill out before returning to the 21st century.
