Great sweet potato/carrots/garlic/chili soup and lemon polenta cake. Even go the recipe for the soup.

Visited during the busy Saltaire Festival and you could tell the staff were stretched. But food was nice and service was good. Particularly liked the fresh bread rolls used for the sandwiches. Didn't try the coffee or cakes... next time.
My husband and I had lunch in Massarella's today whilst visiting Saltaire at the start of the annual festival. We had a table in the window which meant we could enjoy watching the morris dancers nearby. We both had smoked chicken and mango mayonnaise sandwiches...More
I'm have Coeliac disease so when I stumbled on this place, I was over the moon to see they catered for customers that were gluten free. All the soups were home made and gluten free and the bread was gluten free also. Not just basic...More
You can always tell when a place has a hands-on owner and here it is. Spotlessly clean, just the right sort of menu for a place like this, superb quality food and good value. I have read a couple of reviews which frankly baffle me...More
Had an unplanned stop at this lovely cafe having noticed the specials board outside saying that the homemade soups of the day were gluten free-it's refreshing not to have to ask all the time! The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, the food was well priced...More
Very helpful staff and delivious, tasty food - especially the sweet potato, carrot and chilli soup. Highly recommended.
Enjoyed a ham, cheese and caramalized onion pannini with salad and coleslaw. The scone was the best I have ever had. Delicious, full of fruit. Look forward to visiting again.
Nice laid back little place, great sandwiches and fantastic homemade soup (my daughter claimed it to be the best she'd had) The owner was super friendly, and even gave me some tips on making spaghetti sauce 🙂 Will visit again for sure
