Whilst walking the Lancaster Canal we stopped here for tea and scones. Good quality and lots of cups of tea from the teapot. Sat outside as we had the dog and its a very pleasant to sit and chat. Exceptionally clean and good variety of maps, cards etc.

Have often called in here for a "pit-stop" - liquid refreshment and snacks. Always excellent food and drinks. Polite and efficient service. Very reasonably priced. A stand out feature is the cleanliness of the whole establishment, which gives one a lot of comfort regarding the quality of the operation. A good selection of books, cards, and interesting items to buy.... More

Quaint place with a farm atmosphere. Wonderful place to relax and enjoy meals. Neat and clean place. The seating outside by the canal is a bonus on sunny days. Friendly and helpful staff. Ample parking space.

We came off the M6 at jn 33 because of traffic delay - and after a stop here the traffic had gone. Very nice soup and sandwiches and coffee, in a bright building - though it was touch and go whether we should sit at a table outside by the canal. Certainly on the list of places other than service... More

A great, clean and tidy, well set out craft centre and restaurant - both indoor and outdoor seating available. Food - both meals and snacks - very good and value for money. All under the personal control of the Owner, who obviously prides himself on delivering a good customer experience. Can fully recommend.

We popped in for coffee and a scone while walking the Lancaster Canal. The coffee was hot and surprisingly cheap. Sitting in the garden on the canal bank gave us the chance to rest for a while.
