A very nice pub and restaurant. We ate at the pub since the restaurant was not open during lunch. The service was fast and friendly. We ordered two tapas dishes to share. Arroz con carne and gambones del ajillo. (Rice with roasted chicken and garlic...shrimp). Both were delicious. As in most Spanish restaurants, bread, olives, and picos accompany the meal. I also tried my first Andalusian beer, Cruzcampo here. It's a nice beer if you like a light taste. For about $23 we were well fed and each of us enjoyed one drink.More

Welcoming, good food. a little pricey but worth it. Wine list had no prices ! Written on an exercise book. Still, the bill seemed about right. Nice people.

Hotel manager (racondo) very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was excellent value. The rooms were spotlessly clean and my partner said the bed was the most comfortable she has slept in. Bedding, towels etc were changed every day. Value for money and highly recommended. Only one...criticism the bar and restaurant was not available to us in the evenings but it was out of season at the end of March.More

Our tour guide highly recommended this restaurant and brought us here for lunch. They had a great set menu - 3 courses + drink for 12 euros. There was a great selection (at least 5 choices for each course). The food was simple but fantastic;...best grilled salmon we've ever had.More

You will not be disappointed if you go to here. The very friendly welcome truly was exceptional. The restaurant is family owned for over fifty years and they have 'got it right'. Eat in the lovely courtyard or inside in the huge restaurant. There is...a menu on a lectern for all to browse before sitting and for those who do not speak any Spanish or very little the lovely waiter is only too willing to test his English. If you cannot understand the munu the lovely waitress (they are all owners) will take you by the hand and lead you into the ultra-clean kitchen where you can see the food for yourself before you choose. This also lets you know just how proud they are of their cleanliness. The menu is three course at a fixed price which you will find very reasonable. Include a bottle of wine to compliment your meal as wine too is very reasonable. The food is typical Spanish and we started with the home made soup...delicious. My wife had the fish which as we are right by the sea was probably caught that very morning as it looked and tasted so fresh. I had the Iberian pork loin...Lomo...and Potatas Fritas...chips. Delicious and so well presented. Dessert or Postra, was also very good which, with the friendliness of the staff and the presentation of the food made this restaurant an excellent choice for us. Plenty of parking in the street outside or you can catch a local bus. From here you can also walk to the small town where you will find everything you would want to find including a hairdressers for men and women. You will find this restaurant as it is just past the Guadia Civil station and the restaurant building is painted white. Do try it as we highly recommend it.More
