This is the place to go! The food is absolutely delicious and the detail and presentation is fantastic. The service was very attentive. The view over the Treyne is so beautiful and being able to sit out on the terrace is brilliant when the sun is shining. What a treat! Would definitely recommend eating here... and will be returning for... More

We enjoyed the most delicious dinner here, we had the chef's tasting menu paired with wine. Outstanding in all aspects.

This is a must for a special occasion dinner or a Saturday lunch anytime! We started with a glass of champagne on the terrace overlooking a gorgeous stretch of the Dordogne River. Then a three course meal with multiple "amuse bouches" through put the meal. We highly recommend!

The food preparation and presentation was spectacular and so was the service. The menu was flexible and the staff was eager to please.

We have been eating at this fairy tale riverside chateau for over twenty years since we holidayed in the hotel for a week in the nineties. This year's Sunday lunch was well up to standard. We had the €48 menu: delicate prawn risotto to start (preceded by rich and tasty mushroom cappuccino), chicken with a morel purée as the main... More

This is a beautiful room in a beautiful castle serving wonderful, rich, unctuous classic French cuisine and offering a fantastic wine selection. However the offer is restricting, and no lighter ot simpler options are available if your are staying in the hotel for an extended period, so we ate elsewhere too. What they do, they do very well, but a... More

Delicious dishes, beautifully presented, menus that change daily, excellent wine list and very good advice from the sommelier, spotless service, gorgeous terrace. This one-Michelin-star restaurant deserves a higher ranking. Absolutely recommended!

Excellent unless you have THE table to avoid, which is placed on the outdoor terrace in the corner just below many swallows' nests: the droppings will delightfully accompany your meal! But rest assured, servers are well accustomed to handle this, they give you some paper towels and a small saucer of water for you to clean yourself each time. If... More

Very nice atmosphere, the personnel is very friendly and helpful. The dishes were very creative and you can see and taste the effort made. Good wines at reasonable prices. It was our second stay there and will for sure not be the last one.

It was for a birthday anniversary and what an evening it was! This 14th-17th century castle perched on the banks of the river is a sight not to be missed. So do take a stroll in the park before diner before it gets dark. We had diner in the HenryIII dining room. From the moment the staff welcomes you at... More
