Went here for a family get together, and on Monday and Tuesday evenings they do 2 courses for£10', ok so it's not haute cuisine but it's a good varied menu with good size portions, throw in freindly staff and a good ambience what could be better on a cold Monday in November

Stopped by The Holland Arms on Saturday in our campervan. The landlord was very pleasant and made us feel totally welcome. He allowed us to sleep in our van on the car park overnight so that we could have a pint and offered us a source of clean water. I loved the feel of the old building and the cider... More

Having arrived on the Friday evening expecting the place to be busy and buzzing !! NOT ! The 4 of us in total in the whole restaurant ! On arrival entering the premises we could smell damp and the 2 calor gas heaters , not a good start ! We sat at the very lightly stocked bar and had a... More

My wife and I visited here on a Sunday lunchtime. Friendly chatty staff, great choice on menus, and great food served with a smile. You can't go wrong.

Lovely country pub set in quiet surrounds on main Llanrwst road. Atmosphere a bit quiet on arrival but soon filled with local which gave a cosy warm feeling to pub. Food was delicious, hot and freshly cooked with plenty of flavours. Local produce and ample portions, sometimes too large. Staff very busy but got order right and very attentive. Definitely... More

We have just been away visiting Wales for the weekend and we were unsure where to go for our tea around the Abergele area. We rang up a few places to find they were fully booked but then we stumbled across The Holland Arms online and they told us there would be room. Once we got here we found that... More

Had lunch here today with friends and we all had the £7-50 meal which consisted of good choice of main meals and a free dessert. The portions were very generous and the quality of the food was excellent. We all enjoyed our meals and will definitely be back.

We called in 'on spec' in the middle of last week. Although not very busy (well it was early lunchtime on a Tuesday) the welcome we got was excellent. There were a good selection of beers available and the menu was good honest pub food. Having ordered small meals because we were with elderly relatives, I though I would need... More

Situated in the countryside, a bit dark inside with the rich dark wood & furniture. Oldyworldy but lovely. Possible need for it to be updated. Very friendly & clean. Food is amazing, all fresh & cooked fresh. Puddings are awesome. Very good size portions. Nothing to much trouble & not rushed. Been a few times & all a pleasant experience.... More
