Casaju is located at a top of a mountain in Juncos. The breeze and the beautiful view invite you to come in and stay just observing nature. I had a refreshing and tasteful lemonade and a sangria... both very good. The menu is very Puertorican... they serve fricase de conejo y de cabro (goat or rabbit fricase). Also, Kan Kan... More

The place has great food. They serve enough for two or even three. The service is quick and the waiters are very friendly. Even the owner helps out which is great. On the negative side, We parked in the bottom parking and a had a very bad smell. It seemed the sewer was over flooded. I recommend parking on the... More

Pro's: Excellent view of the south hillside of El Yunque rain forest. Con's: The place: A restaurant / "chinchorro" mix that is not one... or the other! Several uneven, roofed concrete terraces, wood decks going uphill / downhill on the backyard of a rural family house. Not suited for high heels, children, old people or people with mobility problems. Sometimes... More

I have visited better places. Food was ok. Limited drink choices for people that can't have too much sugar...just water!!! They don't serve diet sodas. At the end we waited for like 20 minutes to get the check!!!

This place has amazing combination of great food, the price is little higher than other restaurant of the zone, also, the are not always fast if you have little time... But the food and the friendly service complement the rest!! I visited this place at least every year! And always say yes to go there!!!

Meal was fine, good presentation, very delicious. Good attention and a great view to the mountains. Only concern is the prices, for me is over rated. Prices a little bit high to be in a rural location.

Incredible dinner with our local family the last night we were in Puerto Rico. Excellent food and service, and the staff came out to sing to our uncle for his birthday. We had a fried cheese appetizer, and (please forgive my errors here)...I had the Camarones con salsa over Mofongo Madura and my husband had Ropa Vieja...just outstanding. The view is... More

Visited today, ordered rabbit turnovers, turns out they were full of bones. Ordered churrasco medium rare and reicived a well done one. Mofongo was dry and tasteless. I've been here before, and today's food was pretty bad. It was dissappointing.

Casajú has two places, the restaurant and the chinchorro, cheaper and not so fancy food. We went to the Chinchorro. We were a group of 8. The didn't even let us in and they were already saying "welcome". They asked us where did we want to seat. They offered us the best options, since were 8. The food was oooohhh... More
