We hadn't booked but we managed to get a table. Service was very professional and the food came promptly. The menu du jour appeared to be very good value, however we decided to eat from the a la carte menu. On the menu du jour...More

Stopped in for lunch between wineries. Small, comfortable little cafe/restaurant with a few outdoor seats. Helpful, smiling staff. One "menu of the day" and an ala cart menu. Decent selection of wine. My veal was fine, perhaps overcooked, but tasted nice. Ratatouille was good as...More

Brasserie style restaurant, excellent meat, home made fries. fresh salad, serious dessert buffet, in a nice environment, one of my favorites around bordeaux. Reserve as it is a popular place for people living nearby.

We stayed in the St James and we had a diner in this typical French bistrot because the restaurant in he hotel was closed, and I don't regret this experience. Food was very good, quality food and very nice service. Recommended !

Everything here is in French. The staff was great doing their best to interpret the menu for us. Once we chose, the food and service and wine was great. Not fancy but good local fresh food.
