A very busy lively pub. Food hot, tasty and plenty of it, good menu, with vegetarian options, staff chatty and friendly. The sign of a good pub is when locals eat there. Can not fault.
Enormous portions of well presented good home cooked fare, good service and pleasant friendly atmosphere....only just managed to squeeze down the pudding!
Good English food with freshly cooked vegetables. Two of us had steak and one the steak pie, a bit of a wait, but worth it, huge portions. We always call in after a long day out, nice atmosphere, friendly service.
