Visited here last night and I think it will be the last time I visit there. I ordered the fillet steak medium-rare and it tasted very salty and it was absolutely freezing. I would have sent it back but did not want to cause a...More

Tried the Cicchetti menu upstairs in lounge and everything was delicious. Had 6 assorted dishes between 2 of us, and these small tapas style dishes were all so tasty. Particularly loved the prawns, sea bass and pasta. Not in a hurry so finished off with...More

I have managed to basically work my way through the menu at this place as I enjoy eating here, especially in the summer where you can sit outside with a cold beer in beautiful village surroundings. Staff are always lovely and attentive. A couple of...More

Dined in Amaretto as part of a large group for a 30th birthday celebration. The first issue was the slow service. We were seated about 7.15 and it took half and hour for our order to be taken followed by another half and hour before...More

My wife and I had a busy day and were beyond cooking so we tried Amaretto for dinner midweek - for the first time. The only bar server (lovely lady) was obviously trying to get things together as well as serving the (very few) guests....More

Description
It's a family run restaurant with a great team of staff who have been with us for years. This is important to me as I feel customers appreciate having the same staff when they visit; it makes it more personal something that I aim for. My customers are extremely important to me especially with this being a small village it is vital that the customers feel welcome every time they return. We serve traditional Italian food and have a very extensive menu. We have a lunch menu, pre-theatre and of course a la carte. If your looking for somewhere relaxing to enjoy a quiet drink during the day or before and after your meal head upstairs to the bar where we have a variety of continental beers and wines from most regions in Italy, we also sell a selection of hot food, cakes and pastries. The location of Bridge of Weir is an idyllic peaceful village and in the summer our beer garden which is situated upstairs offers wonderful views of the village. We are not looking to turn Amaretto into a brand we want to concentrate on this restaurant and our customers and give something back to the community here. We want to give to give the people of Renfrewshire somewhere they can go anytime of the day and enjoy great food and drink along with great personal service.
