This is my third year back in Furano. I only discovered Panier last year and immediately loved their curry recipe. I cannot get enough of that delicious sauce. This year the legendary Emma had been hired for front of house and she certainly added her...own somewhat rare blend of welcoming charm and professional service to the place (plus, she'd do lovely things like bring me extra black curry sauce without me even asking :0). Keep up the good work Panier... and make sure to get Emma back again net year. See you 2021, no doubtMore

After being to several other places we gave it a go. Staff were very friendly and a Aussie waitress made ordering easy but it also clearly caters for Aussie clientele and as such has an inflated price and an extensive European drinks menu. The food...was very nice and the Japanese couple running the kitchen were lovely. We preferred more Japanese restaurants to this one.More

Panier offers a quirky menu of curries, ramen and rice au gratin. Cheap and cheerful. The atmosphere is pleasant and the Australian waitress utterly delightful.

Best curry in Kitanomine! I recommend the pork cutlet curry and hamburger steak curry. Very friendly service.

The hotel we were staying at recommended and booked us in for dinner at Panier. We arrived and a really friendly waitress from the Northern Territory, Australia welcomed us. We ordered two secret recipe black curries and our daughter had the potato bake- these were...delicious. My other daughter ordered the pizza and was a bit disappointed but dessert made up fir all that. The ice cream was gorgeous. The place is very pricey for what it is- it’s a lovely restaurant with fab service and lovely food but the bill was the highest of all our dinners.More

Found this on our last night in Furano. Staff were Australian and chefs were Japanese. The food was delicious for meat eaters and vegetarians, We had an enjoyable dinner here and would highly recommend it. Tips: Try the Furano wine and check out the "scratch...and sniff" label!More

This was by far our favourite restaurant in Kitanomine/ Furano. The atmosphere is warm and cosy. The front of house speaks English and the food is authentic Japanese cooked by a local chef. It is one of the few places that takes reservations and credit...cards. The udon noodles is delicious as is the fried chicken. Highly recommend you try Panier as a tasty, easy, family friendly place to eat.More

Nice environment. Had the black curry pork cutlet and the seafood gratin. Both were really good. Topped it off with a tasty blueberry vanilla ice cream

After chancing upon Yuiga Doxon and trying their fantastic black curry, we decided to visit Panier for a quick lunch which was close by to where we stayed. The setting was in a small house type place run by owner and his elderly wife. The...food was fantastic (we had pork black curry). Even the fries were good! What made it even more charming and better was to see the elderly couple operate. They were efficient and kind and truly seemed to enjoy what they were doing! (I can imagine that if it was very busy that they might not have much chances to engage with customers though). Lovely place !More

I love this place! We went back 2 nights just to soak it up again. Great local Japanese chef with a menu that has all the typical choices you would expect but importantly has a few different and delicious variations. Everyone in our party was...totally happy with their food and the ambience is very warm and welcoming. 1st on my list when I come back next year!!More

We brought a group of 10 and were treated like royalty. The menu is extensive and well priced. Dishes combine a mix of outstanding local cuisine with western options. Everything we had was delicious. Wine selection is also best we have seen in Furano. The...Japanese local chef has been running this place for ages, and is completely dedicated to his art and to ensuring his patrons are happy. Front of the house is excellent, with native English speaking. Overall, we had a brilliant dinner in a "home like" setting, which capped off a fantastic day on the slopes. We highly recommend this place as a must visit restaurant when you come to Furano.More

Go here! The heart felt cooking from the owners, the genuine love for what they do & the yummiest food. We went a couple of times & loved what we had both times. If you are a meat eater try the black curry. If you’re...vego try the mushroom doxia. Thanks to Anna the friendly face that welcomed us each night. It’s the feeling of the place it’s like you’re in their house eating dinner with a family. Find it & go there!More

Had dinner with a group of 11, including four children. Lovely authentic food with the omelette black curry a chefs special. Also had some good (Australian) wine, which is hard to find. Just off the Main Street, a real find
