Stopped here while visiting Barra and Vatersay. Really lovely staff. Sat outside as beautiful day and enjoyed a coffee while my children thoroughly enjoyed the ice cream!

Went for lunch with my partner and our friends, we all had burgers and chips followed by ice cream. My partner says it's the best place on the island for a cup of coffee. In the week I've been on Barra, we have visited this cafe almost every day because we loved it so much. Highly recommend.

Great when the weather is fine as not sure where you go when the weather is bad. Food is good and they do good coffee.

The Deck is part of the Toffee Shop which offers food and coffee as well as a range of gifts including exotic candles poured in Barra. The staff are very helpful, friendly and chatty. The coffee is lovely and the Jumbo hot dog with fries and onion rings are superb. Definitely recommend.

An extremely friendly wee place with great food, lunch, take away dinner or pop in for a coffee style, if it's sunny sit out on the deck with a scone. (we did all of these whilst on Barra) The shop is stocked with lots of classy souvenirs and gifts. Try the Prawn Cocktail if Jeanette is doing them - tasty... More

Very pleasant to sit outside with a cake and a good cup of coffee overlooking castle bay. Great service and the fudge sample was most excellent

We had a nice lunch out of the patio as we enjoyed the wonderful sunny weather. They had a unique gift shop. Very nice people also packed up our breakable treasures and provided us with a box to ship some of our goodies home. Obviously, we had bought too many souvenirs and found we also didn't need the rain and... More

Wonderful visit ( as always) to buy lots of home made tablet - otherwise known as Hebridean toffee. Discovered The Deck are now open later for meals, including takeaways. Opted for the special of Barra prawn cocktail with chips and salad...... WOW - what can I say? HUGE portion of big meaty prawns in delicious cocktail sauce, just the best... More
