The food was awesome, the scotches were absolutely unreal, the staff was friendly and very knowledgeable, what else can you possibly ask for? Seriously, if I could give it 6 stars, I would!

Soup of the day was delish (can's spell it, begins with M--coconut thai soup) paired with the montreal smoked meat sandwich & fries hit the spot on a rainy day.

What a great experience. Quality food, homemade sausages to die for, mouthwatering bread pudding and a flight of quality ales. What is not to applaud. An excellent malt of the month finished my meal. I left with a huge smile on my face and needed an extra hole in my belt. Well done to everyone, a first class experience.

The service was excellent, food was very good. This restaurant used to be a big old house so the atmosphere is warm and comfortable.

Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and were seated promptly and our server arrived quickly. There is a good choice of beer and the food is typical pub fare. They have 790 kinds of whiskey, live music on some nights and daily specials. It is worth a visit to the website to check out the daily specials and the... More

Love the ambiance of the place....bruschetta was excellent! We also liked the bread pudding and the chicken pot pie. It was a busy place but they made room for us.

This was a recent visit that I organized for 6 adult family members. Everyone was impressed. We had a number of mains all of which can be recommended. They were; Burger, Steak, Pasta, Schnitzel and Catch of the Day. All were very tasty. Their selection of beers is great and the wine selection was sufficient. The welcome, service and ambience... Folks come for miles to enjoy Red Seal Chef Suzette Gerry's culinary delights, over 665 whiskies in Stephanie's Whisky Bar, and our impeccable service with seasoned waiters. All this nestled into our circa 1875 house with a welcoming and cozy ambience. Reservations highly recommended.
