After being denied any type of nourishment at the Parador Santo Domingo de la Calzada because the kitchen was closed until 8:30 PM we began our quest to find something to eat and discovered this gem of an italian restaurant we ordered a vegetarian pizza,...the crust was thin and crunchy and the vegetables fresh, service was prompt and friendly, highly recommend this placeMore

An absolute must in town. We had pizza, calzone and pasta. It was so delicious. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the ambience in the restaurant is wonderful. We went back for dinner but they were closed- that’s how good this place is

We’ve eaten here before and liked our meal. Staff were friendly and very busy with many customers. Dining is inside and outside. They close after lunch until about 5:30 for foot. Beverages are available when restaurant is closed. Across street from Cafe Miguel.

Nice restaurant with friendly staff. Italian dishes, pizza/pasta and some salads mostly. Quality of food is fine, nothing special. Several wines on glass available. All together a decent experience.

Situated along the central "boulevard" of the city and one of the busiest places in town. Friendly staff. Good quality of pizza, with thin bottom and vaker fresh, with lots of ingrediënts on it. Fair prices.

While walking the Camino we came across this Italian restaurant and we’re so happy to find great comfort food at reasonable prices! The pizza here rivalled any we had in our Italian neighborhood at home or during our travels in Italy. We were doing a...rest day here, so we went back the following day for a salad and shared pasta. Again, both were freshly made and excellent. The wait staff were also very friendly, one spoke some english, and they provided excellent service with kindness and a great attitude. We would highly recommend a stop here if you get an opportunity!More

Simple restaurant serving local and Italian food with very reasonable prices. One standout point about this restaurant is that it is open Sunday evenings (when most restaurants in the area are closed). Informal environment for family with quick and friendly service. The food is average,...nothing outstanding but nothing to compain about.More

I fancied a big salad. It was ok but not generous. Mrs M had a pizza. It was ok. I couldn’t recommend it. It was OK.

If you are looking for some comfort food in the form of a pizza or some pasta then you can't do better in the town than La Strada. The food is very tasty, the service is efficient and friendly, the prices are good and the...beer is cold. What more could you require on a warm June evening? Also great for people-watching over a glass of wine, an added bonus.More

The formal dining room was full so we got a table in the busy bar cum restaurant. Enjoyed excellent patatas bravas described as spicy and they were. Main courses of vegetarian pizza and campanola salad were both excellent. Tasty cheesecake too. A nice touch was...the complimentary glass of Cava. In an area with a great emphasis on meat and fish dishes this was a welcome find. House wine €8.50.More
