ate here a couple of times whilst in yao yai, get the feeling its a family run place, and the staff are great, Ody's and the connecting restaurant Bejraksa are served by the same staff and kitchen with the same menu. either are very very good, food was the best we had in yao yai and they do cocktails which are also good value and enjoyable. you wont be dissapointed.

We was staying at Santhiya and preferred to eat outside of the resort. We ate at Odys Cafe twice for dinner and loved it. They had plenty of fans, which they positioned near us to keep us cool. They did an amazing cocktail, my favorite was the Mango Mojito! The food was really great and i loved the free thai crackers they kept refilling for us.

We are staying at a hotel in ko Yao yai and had just wondered off the beach for a stroll and came across Odys cafe so decided to return later that evening for a meal.
Well you won’t be disappointed the food was fantastic we had Stir-fried Prawns with Broccoli and stir fried Prawns with cashew nut some rice and a couple of Beers each time cost around £18 or 750;baht far cheaper than the hotel prices .
Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

Great little Cafe / Restaurant / Bar that serves excellent Thai food.
The staff and owner are great. We Hhad Pork in Herbs and Chicken Satay for starters then main courses of Chicken Red Thai Curry and Chicken Spicy Noodles. With 2xLarge, 2xSmall Singha, plus 4 Cans of Singha for takeaway the bill was for 1100 Bhat (£28).
Excellant value.

We got tired of eating at Santhiya so we decided to explore the town a little bit. It's about a 5-10 min walk from the hotel beach. Delicious seafood and great value (they also serve alcohol...thank god for cold beers). Someone mentioned AC but there was no AC when we got there. We would definitely come back in the future.

Read a few TA reviews and on the back of them went to try this place out, first 2 times we went it was closed which was fortunate for us because we discovered the bar at the end of the road who's name escapes me the food there was superb went twice may yet return .Unfortunately odys fare was no where as good,in fact bland compared to the other joint. Service is undoubtedly very good ,friendly and welcoming and yes it serves beers but not as good as I was lead to believe

We were staying at Santhiya, which is a nearby resort, and felt so trapped. Luckily, Tripadvisor came through and we ventured out to find Odys Cafe, which is about a 20 min walk away.
Small cafe and eatery! Good seafood and Thai dishes and a much better alternative to paying resort prices for local food!

We were staying at Santhiya nearby, which is amazing but we ate a lot outside of the resort. Ody's and the connecting restaurant Bejraksa were so good we ate here 3 times in our 2 week stay. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, they even remembered what we were drinking from our previous visit. Good cocktails and recommend the pineapple curry. The proprietor was such a nice guy who spoke really great English, cracking jokes and having great conversation. They serve alcohol which many others don't and also sell alcohol to take away at a fraction of the price at the resort.

The seafood was amazing. Good pricing as well. Worth the walk if you’re staying close by. We stayed at the Samthiya resort and this was much 10 times better tasting and cost one third of the price.

I went with my wife to this place that was recommended among other, by the staff of the hotel I was staying in. Amazing food, super nice host. They serve alcohol as well, there’s nothing bad to say about this place. I loved it and going back tomorrow to try other things on the menu. The crab is insane!! Also ask them for the recommended dishes, they don’t disappoint !!

Very good food and excellent service and vibe about the restaurant. Varied menu and all we had was very good. Serves beer wine and spirits which a few locally don’t.

The food and drinks were great. The open feel makes it a pleasent place to eat on a warm night. The price is good and only a short walk from santhiya

If your staying at santhiya then I would highly recommend trying out Ody’s, it is only a 5 minute walk away and hands down better food and service than at santhiya for half the price. We ended up here 3 nights out of 6 and were never dissappointed.

From the moment we walked into Odey's we were treated like family. We loved the food, service and atmosphere so much that we came to Odeys every day of our stay in Koh Yao Yoi. Whether it was for lunch or dinner, the food was incredible. We ate in plenty of places around the island, not to mention we were staying in the so called "5 star" Resort Santhiya, but Odey's food is undoubtedly the best on the island. We were given information about the food from the lovely staff, telling us which dishes were made with locally grown fruit and veg and which dishes the staff recommended personally. What made it even sweeter was one of the lovely staff (Pete) introduced us to his Mother, who was the chef. The staff all have very good English and also sell beer and wine, which is a huge bonus considering alcohol is virtually non-existent throughout the island. Food and alcohol can be sold to go also, so if you're not in the mood of sitting in, the guys at Odey's will look after you! Trust me and check it out, you won't regret it! 😊
