This restaurant is near a beautiful beach in Koh Yao Yai and you just feel relaxed eating here with the amazing view. Boom has been attentive to our experience and I love their pad krapao and the fried pork with garlic and salt! Will definitely come again

The restaurant is set in a phenomenal landscape on the island of Koh Yao Yai. The menu is quite extensive, giving the possibility of choosing local Thai dishes or more international food (West). Excellent staff treatment.

Fantastic entertainment and fantastic food, the staff always have a smile on their faces and are incredibly attentive, at no point was I ever struggling to find someone to help me (special thanks too Boom for looking after me). The food selection was great, there’s even something for those with a less adventurous palate. I was suprised by the amount of italian and American dishes the only shame was that I couldn’t fit everything in, I got full before too long!

The service is non-existent. No drinks, even no water is included in the expensive Christmas dinner and everything needs to be ordered separately. We are a group of 8 and have been waiting for water for 45 minutes already with nothing to drink with our food. We are already finished eating and still have nothing to drink. The atmosphere is totally ruined since we are all so thirsty, kids are crying for thirst and none of the waiters do nothing when we ask for the ordered waiters. Risiculous!!!!

Terrible service!!!
We ordered an expensive bottle of red wine which was bad when we got it opened at the table. We then asked the waiter to take the wine back as it was bad. What happens then is that the waiter and management come back and say that we have to pay for the wine since the bottle was opened. Absolutely ridiculous!!

This review is for the beach restaurant. Although a lovely spot during the daytime some evenings it is only buffet which costs 750THB per person. This is equivalent to around £20 each which is very expensive if all you want is a small meal. There is a restaurant up the hill which has A La Carte menus but I think it’s unfair to send guests up the hill. We are paying top prices to stay here and one is excluded from eating on the beach if not paying for the buffet. No water refill either. Only plastic bottles of water to buy which is disgraceful for a large hotel operation like this.

The food was great. The menu has enough variety and the people who work here are very friendly. The live music, by a man and woman, was very nice and most important: not too loud. Also, there were traditional dancers, which was cool to see as well.

Service is quick and friendly, and there are plenty of delicious options. The fried pork and fried chicken appetizers were particularly great, and the desserts are all delicious.
Our server Nampan was very nice and kept dinner flowing at a good speed.

Situated on the beach, there is no lack of beautiful scenery, sunsets. The food is excellent and we dined here a few times during our stay. Not once disappointed. The waitrons are very friendly, meals are prepared fresh and very quick. Definitely worth a visit, over and over again.

Had an excellent meal! The food hit the spot! Especially the TomYum and the chicken wings! (Honestly, I can’t stop having the chicken wings, it’s an addiction) but what really made it special was the amazing service from Boom! She had a bright smile on from the very start all the way to the end. She was very attentive to our orders and requests, friendly, and really made our dinner extra special! I would definitely come back here again! Highly recommend!

Dinner at Chantara restaurant was excellent! A buffet with a variety of food - soups, curries, chiken, noodles made to order, grill made to order, vegetarian and vegan options, fruit and dessert, to name a few. The restaurant at Santhiya‘s sea front offers excellent food, Thai and International. You can chose between normal tables or - even more relaxed - lay down on the dining beds right next to the beach. You order via a special internet site by smartphone and will be serviced by very friendly staff that will also assist you in case you experience any difficulties or have any questions. We were here on a daily basis during our stay and enjoyed it a lot

The location and view is unbeatable. Look out over the crystal clear blue sea whilst drinking your coffee in the morning or cocktail at night. Complemented by the welcoming and friendly staff. You can dine in the restaurant or Al fresco style sitting on the sandy beach. The food is just okay - this is the area that needs some improving to match the other wonderful points mentioned above.

The sebass pasta was beyond my expectation. It’s al dente with a moist fish filet paired with crunchy toast. The veggie pizza also tasted great with wonderful mix of vegetables from bell peppers to mushroom. Just wished the dough can be crispier
