Had a very pleasant evening dining By The Sea. I opted for the luxury beach dining experience where the staff kindly set up a secluded romantic area directly on the beach. Food was good and staff were attentive but not on top of you. Although fairly pricey compared to other local restaurants I would recommend

Boy is the man. Very attentive and great service. I felt that dinner was expensive given that we’re in Thailand and these are essentially US prices. They add 17% to already inflated prices (10% tip and 7% tax) and you’re basically buying dinner In Singapore. The up seller was that we sat on the beach and a fire dance happened in front of us without us knowing that was a thing. The food was pretty good too. I don’t think I’ll be eating here again unless I have zero options on the island.

Had a November evening meal there and it was excellent. The location was lovely over looking the sea and next a mini lake area with water lilies.
We had the mixed starters which consisted of amazingly fresh spring rolls lovely tempura prawns chicken satay and crispy fried vegetable leaves yummy.
For mains i had an impeccable steamed fish in a soya sauce and we also tried red duck curry- amazing . A thoroughly enjoyable meal and excellent value for money

We booked a table for 4 the previous day and made clear we were non-residents and they accepted our reservation. However on arrival the welcome was very poor and we were asked which room number. Having explained we booked the day before the hostess asked if we had a friend staying. This wasn’t a great start to what was hoped to be a nice evening meal.
Overall the vibe was very poor and unwelcoming. We were sat in a poor position and the menu was only available via QR code and appeared to have a supplementary cost for cooking the food - well that’s a first for all the top restaurants I’ve eaten in. Given the live music was a mixture of depressing songs we made a quick departure and ate at a much nicer local eatery.

We dined at the restaurant for several times. For lunch time it’s ok, the food is good, a bit expensive ( though reasonable for A 5 star resort). However, dinner time is terrible- one evening, the service was so slow, the restaurant area was filled with dirty dishes . In the second evening we waited for our meal for more than an hour and a half for when eventually (partially) arrived, it was cold and not as we ordered. The staff was so miserable from all the guests complains.
What annoyed us the most was, that except off apologising , the manager didn’t think they should compensate us and expected us to pay the full amount .
( we didn’t have any other options off dining that evening, otherwise we wouldn’t keep waiting for the food)

They ask you to write a review which is risky I think. You have to order via a QR code that crashes. We ordered a burger, which came out half cooked unseasoned and dripping in mayonnaise. Its a pet hate adding sauces that aren't stated on the menu. I don't like mayo do to have every inch swimming made a meh experience worse.
Service is fast, location good but both juices are warm and servers aren't about much. Expected better for the inflated price and a resort of this caliber

Food is a little pricey if you have experience living in Thailand, but you are paying the premium to sit on the beach. And surprisingly the food was amazing! Very fresh seafood, excellent fried rice and pad Thai. Even the Ice Cream was excellent quality.

Nampan took excellent care of us, very friendly (and bonus, she loves the local cats that come to the restaurant).
My dish wasn’t so great and she gracefully took it back and allowed me to get something different without extra expense.
The fire show was a bonus highlight. Overall Santhiya Resort is excellent and you can confidently come here for dinner or a wonderful stay.

Very nice environnement where you can eat or have drink. Lot of variety of food. We came twice for dinner and the service was excellent. My daughter must eat gluten free food only. They were checking seriously all ingrédients and were proposing alternatives food options which was not on the menu for her. This was much appreciated. Thank you !

Amazing food by paradise sea. My wife and I got the massaman curry w/ beef and basil minced beef along with spring rolls. 10/10 would highly recommend both dishes. Drinks were great too.

Nice welcome from the owner and his wife and stunning views. They reopened it 2 months ago and clearly working hard. The chef is super helpful and will come to chat you through his menu. All freshly prepared and very tasty. We had quite a wait (& only one other table in) but when food came excellent and a home made coffee liqueur as a treat at the end. At the higher end of prices (not much cheaper than rice paddy/hornbill) but decent sized portions.

Beautiful restaurant with a scenic view of the beach and the sunset. It is part of the Santhiya Resort and rather quiet, which we enjoyed. We had Thai curry and mango sticky rice for dinner and it was delicious. Our server Nampan made sure we had a lovely evening and was very friendly and attentive during our dinner.

We had dinner on the beach, very romantic and delicious. We chose the surf and turf menu. Fish, shrimp, squid and various types of meat. Very tasty and lots of it. There was also a starter and a dessert. The waiters were very friendly. Drinks can be ordered at any time using a QR code. The menu cost 1200 baht per person. A really great evening.

Our beach dinner was awesome! The food was delicious, especially the seafood and veggie dishes. Karan from Nepal took great care of us, making sure we had everything we needed. The ocean view and breeze made it even better. Big thanks to Karan and the staff for a wonderful evening!
